The cottage has two bedrooms, sleeping three people and is only a short walk away from the local pub and shop. The cosy and characterful accommodation is all on the ground floor (only two steps up to the main entrance) and has all the amenities required for a self-catering stay. There is dedicated high-speed fibre broadband should anybody need to access the internet while staying and for small children a travel cot, high chair, bed guard, and changing mat can be provided. There is free, off-road parking for one car at Swallow Cottage and there is additional parking 50 metres away in the village car park for a second. For guests bringing bikes and surfboards etc there is storage space available. The garden is shared with the next door property and provides a lovely place to sit out during the summer months. The local village shop sells a range of fresh vegetables, bread, pasties and wine and is also a post office. For more services there are several larger Supermarkets and shops less than 10 minutes drive (in St Austell). Guests are spoiled for choice with many local attractions and beaches well worth a visit. The area is incredibly popular all-year round with Mevagissey, The Roseland and Charlestown all being worth a trip and are less than 15 minutes’ drive. This place is beautiful and very clean. It has everything we needed. It was very easy to find, the instructions are great. The owners are soo lovely and welcoming. On arrival lovely homemade scones with jam and cream. Sooo tasty. This cottage is dog friendly. Beds are so comfortable and the village so piecefull. We would recommend this place 100%. We have visited Charlestown, Looe, Fowey and Truro. We definitely will be back. We loved the area and the garden nice to sit out and listen to the birds. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Hauptraum besteht aus der super ausgestatteten Küche, einem Esstisch sowie einem Sofa mit TV. Daran angrenzend liegt das Schlafzimmer mit großem Bett. Außerdem ist ein kleines Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Im Bad sind neben dem WC, Dusche und Waschbecken auch eine Waschmaschine vorhanden. Der Garten konnte mitbenutzt werden. Fußläufig liegt ein echt schöner Pub mit guter Küche. Unsere Ausflugstipps: Portloe, Trewithin Garden, Carne Beach.
