The neighborhood is very quiet also. The home had plenty of space and all the basic amenities. It is definitely an older home and could use some sprucing up (a good coat of paint inside and out, wall repairs from what looks to be past water damage, new cabinets, tightening of door knobs, fixtures, etc.), but the location made up for these things. Many of the surrounding homes are being renovated so maybe this home will follow. The beds were very comfortable. This second floor apartment was very clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, with several seating areas, comfortable beds, large closets, washer/dryer... and quiet (we never heard our neighbors below). Comfortable beds, surprising number of closets for an older home, and just cozy. We booked again for next year! Note that the kitchen is basic without a lot of counter space, but that was actually a plus for us, not needing to pay for a gourmet kitchen. ##### Heather J.
