Take a step back in time as you cross the threshold of Casa Coquina. The nine and a half foot ceilings make for a spacious and inviting grand entry. Wonderful large windows allow an abundance of natural light throughout. Architectural details and oak flooring are original to the home. The charming living room with a wall mounted Samsung Smart TV, opens to a spacious dining area. To satisfy culinary desires, delight in the fully equipped chef's kitchen featuring a large center island and all hi-end appliances. All three bedrooms have king size beds, fine linens, and wall mounted Samsung Smart TVs. Towels, soaps, and hairdryers are supplied in all bathrooms. A front load washer and dryer are conveniently located on the first level. All bedrooms have room darkening shades, bedside lamps with USB ports and ceiling fans. There is high speed internet and Wi-Fi throughout the property. Among the many modern amenities this home offers, are dual master suites. An expansive and very private upper-level master suite has an adjoining luxury dressing room and ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub shower combo. The second master suite located on the main level includes an ensuite bathroom with a rain showerhead. Bedroom three on the main level is a guest bedroom that utilizes the adjacent full bathroom. Upon request the two XL twin beds in the guest bedroom can convert to a king bed. The large front porch is the perfect spot to start the day with a cup of coffee or to relax with a cold beverage after a day of touring. In the afternoon South Street is the route frequently taken by horse drawn carriages. Nothing evokes the feeling of tranquility more than the sound of the carriages and horse hooves clopping down the street. Equipped with a wet bar, the glass enclosed back porch overlooks a landscaped backyard, a three-hole putting green and Solo smokeless fire pit. For the grill master, there is large gas grill and dining table for six. Casa Coquina is located on a shady street along the Freedom Trail in the eclectic and historic neighborhood of Lincolnville, which is within the boundaries of Saint Augustine's Historic District. Communication from the host made checkin a breeze, and the house was so comfortable and well appointed - providing modern function while preserving the character and style of decades past. The kitchen was perfectly equipped - since we had 6 family members, we cooked breakfast each morning to allow everyone to get ready for the day in St. Augustine at their own pace. The backyard putting green was a big hit with my 2 grandsons (and son-in-law) and inspired several friendly competitions among them. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful, and conveniently located - about a 10 minute drive to the Old City and 30 minutes or less to St. Augustine Beach. The three bedrooms are situated to allow ample privacy and comfort, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We’ll definitely be back! ##### M B. Everything about this rental was far more than we had anticipated, with all details of the highest caliber. We loved the old-Florida neighborhood and walked everywhere, even into the Old City. Immaculately clean and well stocked. It also had great personality. We used the front porch, backyard, the little putting green and fire pit. The backyard was private and comfortable - a great way to sit and relax at the end of the day. Until we took a tour in St. Augustine we didn't realize how walkable the property is to many places in St. Augustine. Despite a few minor hiccups the owner and property manager were pleasant and responsive. We appreciated their support. This property is a gem ##### Terri M.
