Watch the dolphins play in the surf from this spacious 5-bedroom, three-bath home in the quiet neighborhood of Porpoise Point. With the beach right in your backyard, you will find this vacation spot to be your home away from home! The large and inviting living and dining areas open onto a roomy oceanfront deck with various seating options to soak up the sun, take in the panoramic views, and enjoy the ocean breeze. And you don't need to leave the views behind inside. The house features a fully stocked kitchen that also includes a blender, stainless appliances, granite countertops, and bar counter seating for five that is open to a large dining table that seats 8, giving you a variety of indoor and outdoor choices for your morning coffee or a great family meal. When it is time to feel the sand between your toes, a quick stroll through the backyard takes you to a private boardwalk leading you to miles of beach in seconds. The beautiful, pet-friendly beach at Porpoise Point is excellent for all your favorite beach activities, whether swimming, surfing, fishing, or building the sandcastle of your dreams. Plus, if a little more seclusion is what you are seeking, a short walk to the tucked-away inlet beach with its expansive views of Historic St. Augustine is the perfect destination. Back inside the home, the third-floor master bedroom provides a spacious retreat with a king bed, a private bathroom, plenty of closet space, and a private terrace that looks over the front of the property. Just outside the master bedroom is a large relaxing loft area with a gaming table and a queen sofa sleeper overlooking the living area and the fabulous ocean views! The views from the loft will take your breath away! The remaining four bedrooms are on the 2nd and 1st floors. They include two bedrooms with queen beds on the second floor next to a large bathroom, a king bedroom, and an adjacent bedroom with two twin beds on the first floor next to a guest bath. The house will comfortably sleep ten guests, and there is a sleeper sofa with room for two more. There is parking in the driveway for two cars, plus a 2-car garage you can access. When it’s time to take a break from the beach, take a stroll down Vilano Road, and you will find a full-service grocery store (Publix), liquor store, surf shop, and several restaurants. If you continue down Vilano Road, you will find yourself at the Vilano Pier. Here, you can do some Intracoastal fishing, enjoy the fantastic sunsets, or take in the views of Historic St. Augustine, which lies minutes away just over the Vilano Bridge. The house is beautiful, well kept and super clean. It does show some age, wear and tear, but it didn't matter to us. For example, the shower head in the lower floor is either rusted or full of mold. On the positive side, the rooms are big and the beds are comfortable, but if you sleep on the lower floor, you will hear every step from above. The most important thing is the direct access to the beach, and the gorgeous view!!! We liked that they even have beach toys for children to play on the beach. The kitchen is big, everything looks modern/new, but we could not find pot holders nor a kitchen towel/cloth. We really enjoyed our quiet New Year's with not noisy neighbors. The only complaint is that I called before we went, to see if the would extend our departure hour from 10:00 a.m to 11:00, paying the extra fee, and the gentlemen never called me back to confirm, as he had promised to do. So, we got our babies and toddler out in a hurry like crazy grandmas and mamas. Hope to come back again one day! ##### Irene S. We will definitely be back; this house was all that is was advertised to be! We were a party of 9 adults and an infant. Having 5 bedrooms was a luxury that is hard to find. We had plenty of space to spread out when needed, but could easily come together for games and meals. The porch and outside furniture was an added bonus to the beachfront experience. We maximized the front row seat to the glorious sunrises each morning. We had an amazing stay.A couple notes: the tub stopper in the main floor tub doesn’t work, and some of the furniture could use replacing. Also, the outdoor trash bins were overflowing upon our arrival and were covered with maggots… resulted in a few terribly smelling days of we went out front or in the garage until trash pickup came. It is so convenient (walking distance to Publix and some restaurants) and very easy drive to St George Street and all of the historical sites and attractions. Perfect for days on the beach. Most beautiful Sunrise! Dog friendly and lots of kids and families. The home is huge and lots of space so if you wanted a quiet place you got it. Thanks so much! I asked for a layout but there wasn't one available. We had a person with bad knees for climbing stairs, so we wanted a room on the main floor. There were two on the main floor so it turned out to be a good stay. There are no bedrooms with a view, but the house has a beautiful view I would definitely return!!!!!! ##### Jennifer Z.
