The porch features magnificent views of the yachts and boats of all sizes cruising up and down the waterway along with the coastal birds feeding in the marsh near by. The unit has all new furnishings, wall to wall carpets in the bedrooms, tile floors throughout the living room area, kitchen, dining and bathroom areas. It also features wi-fi, 3 flat screen TV's (with a 48 inch in the living room). The master bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and a separate double vanity area with an entry way that takes you into the private shower and bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds with its own bath located just outside the door. The complex features 3 swimming pools, one of which is heated. There are tennis courts and a fishing pier where you can cast your line into the crystal blue Florida waters. The condo is located 8 miles south of the historical St. Augustine, the oldest city in the country. St. Augustine has a wide variety of shops and restaurants sure to please every taste. There are also a number of historical sites nearby including the Castillo De San Marcos National Monument, featuring a 17th century Spanish fort. After you tour the fort, you can relax on a horse carriage or trolley tour through beautiful St. Augustine. The world renowned Florida beaches are only a 10 minute ride from the condo and for the sports enthusiast, the Golf Hall of Fames is a short 30 minute drive away. Often in other rentals, we have not have enough linens. This place had PLENTY!! Cooking in the kitchen was a treat as well. Everything i needed was there to cook! The views were an added bonus. We enjoyed sitting on the screen porch watching the boats, and wildlife. It was so relaxing. We are avid beach people, and it was just a short drive to get to the beach. We stayed a week (3/26/17 - 4/2/17), but would have loved to have just moved in on a permanent basis; or, at least stayed another couple of weeks had we the time, it was that lovely! The views from the back screened-in porch were absolutely the most peaceful and relaxing either one of us has ever experienced on a vacation. We enjoyed our coffee each morning out on the porch, watching the sun rise; then, with a glass of wine in the evenings, watching the tides come and go. This place even included binoculars so you can watch the magnificent wildlife that visits the shores and marsh along the inner coastal waterway, which is the back yard of this place. We can't say enough about it honestly...and the owner Alice is just a jewel. She was extremely informative; concerned that we found everything in order and enjoyed our stay by calling us a week after our return home. The community in which this condo is located is quiet, well maintained and situated close to everything one would need for an enjoyable "get away" experience. The residents, of which are mostly retired folks were courteous and very friendly. We were made to feel right at home, even though they knew we were just vacationers! It's close to everything, you can drive to the beaches, go downtown, or even hit the grocery store in 7 minutes or less. The beaches are gorgeous. The downtown area is stunning and the condo complex has private pools if you want to stay in. Tons of shops and restaurants in historic downtown. We have rented several properties from so called "professionals" (realty agents) over the years and have had some issue almost every time… This year we rented from VRBO and had an awesome experience, with no surprises! Our hostess was available to answer any questions, and the place was exactly what we wanted. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a very nice, relaxing atmosphere, with a great view. It was clean and comfortable beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this for an older family, as it is a quiet retirement community. St. Augustine is a beautiful city rich in history with several beaches nearby. Everything, including beaches and great restaurants, are just a short drive away. We would not hesitate to return to this property! The condo is exactly like the pictures that are shown. It was very clean and we had everything that we needed for a quiet, relaxing stay. The view is very nice and there is a wonderful screened-in porch. We found some very nice places to eat and the owner had a book with information on local establishments. Mar 17, 2015 #### Alice's Condo My husband and I along with another couple stayed for 8 days at the condo. The view was lovely with boats passing and many varieties of birds. The condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds and mattresses were clean as was the whole unit. We were just far enough away from St Augustine to avoid traffic but close enough to go into town for dinner although there were many good places near by. I would not return to the St. Augustine Golf Club down the road but there were many other courses around. The owner was very kind and considerate. We didn't use the pools so I can't speak to those. Do consider this condo if you are planning on being in the area. ##### Robert K. So much to do, and not enough time this trip. We will definitely be back! We were so close to everything, and we could just stay put and enjoy also. The kitchen had everything we needed.
