Older property but well maintained. Staff was lovely, and location was excellent. Bridge of Lions traffic is awful, but there's another way. Ask about it.

What a fun hotel!!! The view over the bay on the back patio was wonderful! Rooms were lovely and have new furnishings and nice bedding. Approx 1 mile from Old Towne but several good dining options that are within .25 miles. I will stay here every time I'm in the area!

The photos of the property really don’t do it justice. The room was comfortable and charming but the best thing about it to me was that, just outside the back door was a patio that looked out at the water and beyond the water was a scenic view of St. Augustine. A very nice breakfast was available each morning but the most enjoyable thing was the happy hour with wine and hors d’oeuvres each afternoon. Sue is the hostess with the mostest!!

Gorgeous view. Wonderful staff. Parking was easy, and we were easily able to walk over the bridge to downtown St Augustine. Could walk on the island to several good restaurants.

This property is nestled in the most lovely location. We really enjoyed the breakfast and sitting on the deck overlooking the river and Historic District of St. Augustine. We walked the bridge into the city on several occasions. The Inn was very clean and the staff was wonderful.

A little dissapointed in room selection as it did not face the water as would a typical room at this property. However room has been updated and very clean so over all a good place to rest at the end of the day.

It reminder me of the old fashioner motel, quant! They did some upgrades to the rooms, very nice and helpful staff. Walkable to food and sightseeing We’ll be back for a few more days.

The man and the retired, gray haired woman at check in were lovely. The breakfast woman could be more pleasant—she seemed unhappy in her job. I liked the view, the sitting area outside and inside, and what appeared to be a new shower. The daily wine and snacks were a treat and the breakfast was okay. The room was quiet and clean except for dust on the bedside appliances and a very dirty glass (not dusty…it looked used and unwashed). I did not report these to the front desk; if I had, I feel certain they would have been fixed. I would stay here again.

Hotel has an exceptional location - right on the intracoastal waterway. great views. They have an evening Happy Hour that is delightful, and serve an excellent breakfast. Ammenities in the rooms are lovely.

The surrounding view was absolutely untouchable! Rocking chairs, a lap blanket in January, a hot coffee and watching the sun rise and set over the water is a memory you'll never forget. Did I mention the dolphins?? You will regret staying ANYWHERE ELSE.

The hotel was very nice. The staff provided a lovely homemade breakfast and nice apps and wine for happy hour. The room was clean and updated. The only complaint was the air conditioning was loud. I would definitely go back. From the hotel you can walk to the historic district and shopping without worrying about parking. Great location!

Based on Expedia information, I believed I was getting a waterfront room, not a street front room. The tv was not working, turns out the box had been unplugged. Both lamps were unplugged and I had to move furniture to plug them in, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling, the shower was too small and leaked onto the floor, there were windows on both sides of the room and the blinds let in light all night, it was like daytime in the room. I could not sleep at all. The man who was working the desk Friday night and the woman at the desk Saturday morning were both very pleasant and went out of their way to help.

Three day R&R
My husband and I are in our late 60's. Wanted to visit St. Augustine away from crowds and noise but able to park at hotel and walk. Edgewater was perfect. We were pleased with lovely quiet location, view and comfort. Walked over Bridge of Lions to everything. Alligator Farm is 2 min. drive. After a long day, our Adirondack chairs were relaxing. Office staff want to please!
