This unique home encompasses 3 separate properties this listing is only for the middle of the 3 floors. Inside you will find 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and an open-plan living/dining area that steps down onto the sand. Enjoy uninterrupted ocean views from the wrap around deck with many places to relax & watch dolphins, sip your morning coffee or watch the pink sunsets. SPACE SECTION Make your way along the paved path and up to the second floor of this beautiful home filled with charm and a rich artistic history with famous books and songs once written within its walls and paintings created of its stunning, ever changing scenery. Step inside and be greeted with views of the ocean from every window within the spacious sun-filled living area that offers a plush chaise sofa and a wall mounted TV. The modern kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you could need to cook up breakfast lunch and dinner and even has its own view of the ocean while you cook and wash up. There is a full-size fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven and cooktop, a microwave and a coffee maker to get your day started right. Eat together at the dining table set for seven or sit up at the breakfast bar with 3 stools while you keep the chef company as they whip up a batch of pancakes. There are two bedrooms within the home that both offer comfortable beds topped with soft, quality linen where you can fall asleep to the sounds of waves spilling over onto the sand. The master bedroom features a large, luxurious king bed, while the second bedroom is filled with a three single beds including a bunk making it perfect for families wanting to stay together. Both bedrooms share the central bath that comes stocked with quality amenities and soft fluffy towels for each guest. There is also a handy outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off any sand before coming back inside as well as a laundry with a washing machine and dryer and complimentary washing powder. Open up the large sliding door to let the cool ocean breeze in as you sit out on the inviting decked areas that wrap around the house. Sit by the ocean wall and watch for dolphins, sea turtles and manatees, enjoy your morning coffee on the upper deck as the sun comes up or laze on the sun lounges and watch the breathtaking sunsets each night turn the entire sky every shade of pink. Walk along the pristine stretch of unspoiled beach or go for a swim in the clear, pure ocean where you can surf and paddle board or wait for the tide to go out and discover all the living creatures that live in the shallow pools left behind. The house is perfect for big or small groups with the ability to book the entire three floors and even hold an event down on the beach like a wedding or anniversary. NEIGHBORHOOD The house is located along a rare stretch of beach on one of the last untouched inlets on the east coast just south of Crescent Beach and is the home of Fort Matanzas, the Matanzas National Seashore - a beautiful National Park. It sits directly on Atlantic Ocean, but you can also see the Matanzas River, and the Intracoastal waterway. Since the house sits on this largely untouched area, the wildlife is amazing. Depending on the time of year Sea Turtles, Dolphins, and Manatees can be seen within the 25 miles of undeveloped state owned natural habitat. The pristine water is one of the most unpolluted water areas in the state of Florida which brings fisherman and birders from all over to the beautiful sanctuary areas making it a truly unique place to stay. If you like to cycle you are only a few miles from some of the best mountain biking trails and miles and miles of mostly shaded paved trails to explore. Just under 14 miles away is the charming city of St. Augustine that offers unique scenery and history that sets the city apart from any other in the country. This old city has a quaint feel with a big appeal where guests can stroll along the brick-lined streets and delight in the city's European flavor, with centuries-old buildings, horse-drawn carriages, hidden courtyards, and so much more. Saint Augustine has plenty of history to explore -- more than 450 years of it! St. Augustine is known for its excellent restaurants serving a variety of dishes reflecting the town's multicultural heritage. Amazing! The family, including our dogs, had a great time beach combing and in the process we had the opportunity to rescue a wash backed green sea turtle. It was perfect! My mother was able to walk down the steps to be right on the beach, and when she didn’t feel like walking out, she enjoyed the ocean view and breeze on the deck. We loved this place. We are a local family that wanted to spend the week before school went back in session at the beach. It was the perfect location. This section of the beach is perfect for families. As the other reviews mentioned the changing tides expose the sandbars and tide pools and made it really fun. We saw an octopus in one tide pool! Our girls, age 11, went to Marineland for a 1/2 day Aquarist Trainer for the day and loved it. They asked if they could do it again. We had really good dinners at JTs seafood shack in Hammock Beach and Back 40 A1A. I highly recommend this place! We rented the 2nd floor of the house. Each floor is rentable. At first I thought this would bother me but it didn’t at all. Our neighbors upstairs were as nice as can be. ##### Michael V. Literally steps to the beach and what a beach, we love to walk on the beach this is one of the best walking beaches we have ever stayed on. The outdoor area is fabulous - we sat outside and watched the sun come up every morning with coffee and the evening with a glass of wine. The inside is spacious and very clean. For me there was only one draw back and that is the musty smell of wood but for that location it is a very small drawback! We plan to come back again. ##### David W.
