CRC 1108 - Newly Renovated! Ground Floor Condo Easy Pool Access

With a quick walk to the pool or boardwalk, this is your perfect beach getaway! The newly renovated kitchen with granite counter tops, new cabinets, and new appliances makes dinner a breeze. Not to mention, the outdoor electric grill makes for a great night of burgers and steaks! Enjoy a view of the courtyard, oceanfront pool, and the ocean all from your patio! The plush king bed in the primary bedroom makes for a comfortable night’s sleep. In the guest bedroom there is a queen bed and a twin bed and in the third bedroom, known as the “Crow’s Nest” there are 2 twin size bunk beds. But please note, these bunk beds are kids only, we ask that no one over 100 pounds be on the top bunks for safety purposes. Please note, this condo is across from the elevator.

Please note: The owner of this condo is severely allergic to pet dander so this condo cannot accommodate service animals of any kind. However, we have many other condos that do accommodate service animals here at Colony Reef Club!

All the condos are equipped with private WIFI and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. We provide initial toilet paper, trash bags, bath soap, and dishwasher powder. Guests are advised to bring supplementary items if needed.

Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a heated pool, sauna, racquet ball court, and fitness center.

The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from buildings 1 and 2 and a three-minute walk from building 3. The beaches are accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access.

Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the towns many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley’s to see it all on the go! You can purchase tickets to many of Saint Augustine’s attractions here in the office!

Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!

In the months of June and July we offer a variety of daily on-site food trucks by the pool and weekly movie nights on the lawn!

Nice place.

We weren’t aware of the pool being closed upon arrival but the management gave us a discount because of that. We also broke the glass covering the table by accident and the management was very understanding. The location is great .. the condo was comfortable and the pool area is gorgeous… I would stay again!

Wasn't to be expected...

The third bedroom was more of a closet with filth under the homemade bunk beds. There was trash under the living room furniture and some kind of bungee cord key ring under the fitted sheet in the master bedroom. The master bathroom shower curtain has not been cleaned since day one as it was pink towards the bottom. There was a door stop sticking out in the hallway wish would perfect for a small child to get injured on. There is an exposed wire sticking out of the wall behind the nightstand in the master bedroom. The closet doors in the second bedroom looked wedges in place at an angle to keep them from falling. The dryer does not dry laundry AT ALL.

The condo overall was nice . The view of the pool and the green space for the kids to run was great! There were a lot of little details that were ignored! There were no cleaning supplies. The kitchen was stocked with decent pots and pans! The beds were terrible! The had big pits in the middle and the bedrooms did not get cool. This made sleeping difficult! The bedding in all three bedrooms was old and not very welcoming! They looked run down! They were clean but very old! The bathrooms were clean and renovated. The condo lacked the extras like some beach toys and the chair was broken. There was no soap for hands or anything like that. The living area was nice . The furniture was fairly new and comfortable! The dining room table was nice until you pulled out the chairs and they were all stained. The facility was nicely taken care of and over all the condo was nice! I would recommend if you stay here to take all the extras !

Look elsewhere if you are hoping for a clean, quiet, comfortable vacation

This condo experience was one disappointment after another. We had stayed at this complex before and so we were not surprised by the number of people everywhere and the overall noise. But, we were shocked at the location of the condo being directly across from the elevator which buzzes loudly each time it comes and goes. This was not advertised or disclosed on the listing on VRBO. Unfortunately, we are traveling with small children who are light sleepers who must sleep in a room directly across from the loud elevator which also does not have any window treatments to block the extremely bright light that stays on all night. The storm door to enter the unit squeaks loudly like metal on metal when opened or closed. The secondary bedroom is disappointing in that there is no ceiling fan and the beds are an absolute nightmare. One will fold you over like a taco, the other squeaks loudly with every move. Both bounce like trampolines. I cannot imagine where one could even purchase such terrible mattresses. Also, the closet door was off the track and had to be fixed by my husband. There are no extra blankets or any pillows on the sofas in the living room. After about 10 minutes in the condo, my children’s feet were covered in dirt and I had to stop unpacking to look for a mop. There is a swiffer, but the cleaning pads are completely dried out. I had to use Clorox wipes I brought with me to mop the dirty floor on hands and knees. While looking for something to clean the floors, we looked in the kitchen pantry and found an entire loaf of moldy bread with meat inside. It was so disgusting. Finally, the entire condo is woefully under equipped. The kitchen has 2 plastic wine glasses, we were only provided 6 towels for 6 people, there are no extra blankets, there are no beach supplies, no ceiling fans. I spent twice my monthly mortgage on this unit and compared to others I have paid far less for, this one is a major disappointment. I highly suggest you look elsewhere. The only redeeming factor about this particular unit is that it is a ground floor and it is very easy to walk out to pool and beach.

Nice and clean

the condo was nice. Kitchen needed more towels and potholders but other than that had plenty of dishes and cookware. The laundry room was very nice to have. Can't wait to come back.!

Great Location!

Colony Reef Club is a great location! The people are friendly and the community is quiet. The grounds were well kept and the access to the beach was very close! Our unit was nicely decorated and clean. Some parts of the unit were in need of updating. The sliding glass doors that go out onto the porch are very old and were very difficult to open and close. Most of the other updates that are needed don't really affect any day to day living there. Two of the bedrooms are a good size and were well kept. The third bedroom which shows four bunk beds was extremely small, it was like a closet. They were not store bought bunk beds, but rather self made to fit the space. There was a sign that said no one over 100 lbs should be on the top bunk. This didn't affect us with our family, however, it could be a surprise to someone expecting to be able to use the top bunks with older children. I feel like this information should have been in the description. Over all, it was a nice place to stay and we would absolutely come back to the Colony Reef Club again!

Great on the beach option

Definitely recommend Colony Reef! Love the heatwd indoor pool and proximity to beach. Be careful with bunk beds...the toos only are for 100 pounds (maybe most people know that, but we did not and we had 18 and over and noone under 100 pounds. Just set mattress on the floor in other room and it was fine, but something to know for planning! The bathrooms do need upgraded (per other reviews), but not a big deal. Some plates/mugs need replaced, and would be great if there were some wine glasses. Place was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay. Thumbs up!
