It's near shopping, restaurants and the intracoastal. The heated pool is located just off the living room. The downstairs master suite has a large walk-in closet, walk-in shower and bathtub. The house has one large television in the living room and one in the master bedroom with Wi-Fi. Fully stocked kitchen. 2nd Bedroom is located also downstairs with view to the pool. Half bath off foyer. Three large bedrooms are located upstairs with updated bath. The 2.5-story high cathedral ceilings give the home a very open and bright, airy feeling. The living room fireplace offers a magnificent focal point. The large front kitchen wing has two expansive dining areas, stainless appliances, granite countertops, tall cabinets, and a breakfast bar. The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. The house is located 12 minutes from downtown and just a short drive to the beach. Our beautiful beach offers access to 4x4 vehicles and public free parking. There are bicycles for rent, as well, nearby. Butler Beach, where this house is located, is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the northeast of Florida. It’s an expansive white powder beach! You’ll find fisherman, bikers when the tide recedes, walkers, surfers, kite boarders, shell gatherers, and of course sun bathers! St. Augustine city center, only 10 minutes north, is the most ancient, gorgeous city in Florida...and America for that matter! It hosts restaurants, stunning historic churches, some of the finest art galleries and a myriad of chic boutique shops. The first Friday of every month features an Art Walk, where some galleries even serve refreshments and stay open in the evening. As you walk cobble stone streets you have opportunity to explore history all around you, often hearing church bells. You can sight see through horse and buggy or trolley tours, or just shop til you drop! You will want to return year after year! Make sure to head downtown to go on one of our Ghost Tours or to grab a bite to eat at our buzzing restaurant district on the water. Afterwards, return to the quiet beach neighborhood where you can stargaze the night away! Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house. The pool heater thermostat is set to a temperature between 78 and 85 degrees F, depending on the time of the year. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. Our pool technician comes on Tuesdays to check the chemicals and Fridays to clean. Our lawn/landscape professional comes on Wednesdays. These dates are subject to change based on weather or other factors, but in general that is when they are scheduled. Per St Johns County regulations, only ten people are allowed per rental, not counting children 12-years-old or younger. That means this property is allowed up to 10 adults and the rest of the guests must be 12 and under. The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup. Quiet hours are 10pm - 9am and the pool equipment will shut off during that time. We don't mind if you are in the pool and backyard during quiet hours, we kindly request that our guests be respectful of the neighbors. The neighbors may call the county and complain if guests are being noisy past 10 pm (county noise ordinance). We rarely get complaints from the neighbors, but if we do, we want to be able to tell our guests that there are designated quiet hours. We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Proximity to the beach was excellent. The house has a ridiculous number of bedrooms. My oldest son decided to try out different bedrooms to decide which one he liked the best. The pool was as promised. Tip...When we got to the house it was warm inside. I called the hosts and they said that it had to do with the sun being on the west side of the house, and us leaving the door to the pool area open. They were right. House cooled down pretty quick after we, in our excitement, let all the cold air out and hot air in. Our family of 6 adults and 3 kids just spent 5 nights here over spring break. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the pool, the living room, and/or dining spaces. The kitchen is well equipped and everything at the home is as advertised. The walk to the beach or the Intercoastal Waterway is easy and the beaches are gorgeous. There is so much to do in St. Augustine and the surrounding areas that even if the weather isn't beach weather, no one gets bored!We will definitely consider coming back and highly recommend this property. ##### Kathy O. It fit all of our needs and was in close proximity to the beach and a short drive to downtown. The heated pool was also a very nice amenity. The property owners communicated often with me and the check-in and check-out process was very easy. The home was beautiful and met every one of our needs with cleanliness and ample sleeping arrangements. Would highly recommend this property to anyone who visits St Augustine! ##### Joe C. The house, location, pool, beach and attentiveness of property host was amazing!! David was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we were taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The pool was great for a swim anytime we wanted and the beds were comfortable. The location was close enough to the beach to walk, but we choose this area because you can drive right up onto the beach and set up your site without having to carry all your stuff from the house. This is a great house for your family to stay and we plan on returning to this house in the future. ##### Jay R. There was plenty of space for a large family and our kids really loved the pool. The neighborhood was conveniently located near the beach and stores/restaurants (dollar general and publix are just a few minutes away). The neighborhood was safe, secure and we had zero issues. We are overly observant in regards to safety concerns as we have both served in law enforcement capacities and we would stay at this location again. ##### Christina D. It was close to the beach and places to eat. Our family was in town for the weekend and we wanted to be at the beach. There were two tvs downstairs and none ujpstairs, even though there were three bedrooms upstairs. The house was not clean. There was a pair of underwear and pants under the sink in the downstairs bathroom. The lower kitchen cabinets were not clean. The fan in the living room had a lot of dust on the fan blades. The couches in the living room need to be replaced due to wear. The pool needs to be remarcited. The marcite is flaking off the pool. There were no extra towels provided.
