An easy walk just over the bridge to town (1/2 mile). Also some very good bar/restaurants even closer on Anastasia Island. Several beach options near by. We would absolutely come back! I always try to offer some constructive criticism because at the end of the day no place is perfect. The water pressure stinks, I felt like I was showering under an eye dropper, and it is time for a fresh coat of paint... Once again these are knit picks. ##### TODD B. It has a large kitchen and everything is updated and in great working order. Unlike some VRBOs, this place had coffee, creamer, garbage bags, laundry detergent, and toilet paper for us to use...which was great. This place is in a very quiet neighborhood about 1/2 mile from downtown. We walked everywhere. The owner/property manager was very communicative and entry into the apartment was super easy. The apartment building looks historic, but the inside has been renovated and everything looks new and updated. They even had a small box fan in the bedroom!! The bed was large and very comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a large step in shower and it was immaculate. They had a large screen TV in the living room with Youtube TV streaming service that worked great and was very easy to operate. We've fallen in love with St. Augustine and all of the city's friendly people. This unit is 1.9 miles to the Amphitheater, and we walked to a show we had tickets for....sidewalks all the way to the amphitheater and the downtown area. The only place we had to drive to was the beach and there's a ton of free public parking there, so that was very easy as well. I highly recommend this rental! ##### Lisa W. Space was perfect, bed was comfy. Provided some snacks and a few bottles of water upon arrival. The door is a code lock so no need for a key! The water pressure in the shower has to be addressed.
