The room was beautiful, roomy and clean. The parking was horrendous. If your room is on the south side of the building, good luck finding a spot anywhere near your room.
The free breakfast was AWESOME and they kept it well stocked. Bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, waffles, and an assortment of fruits, cereals, juice and milk.
Proximity to the beach is excellent - beach access is directly across the street, and it's a ten minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. Best bargain for the money.
Nice hotel next to beach and near some nice restaurants. If you pay for beach view, make sure to get third or fourth floor. The lower floor view is blocked by sand dunes and trees. Breakfast was OK, but there was only one staff member taking care of refilling the empty items.
St. Augustine Beach is a small town 6 miles southeast of St. Augustine on Anastasia Island. Anastasia State Park is directly to the north. The town boasts miles of beaches. Local activities include golf and deep-sea fishing excursions. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm, north of town, was founded in 1893 and houses a variety of alligators and reptiles.
