Some reviews are too good for AIRBNB! Hi Marvyn, I hope you are well. Thank you so much for the lovely review you left us on Airbnb. I do apologize for not posting a review sooner. We've been travelling for the last few weeks, and I was unaware that the time to review would expire on Airbnb. I contacted Airbnb to see if they could assist in posting the review but they weren't much help... we have written a review that I have attached below. Please feel free to upload it on other sites if you wish or share it with future guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home! 5 stars all around! Thanks again! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful holiday home. Our family spent a week here in July and we felt right at home! Marvyn was the perfect host. He met us at the property on our arrival. We arrived in St Andrews a few hours before check-in and he graciously accommodated us with the storage of our luggage until we could occupy the house. He checked in with us regularly during our stay and it was reassuring to know that he was just a phone call away. The home itself is beautifully decorated, well-appointed and perfectly situated. It is modern, spotlessly clean and looks exactly like the photos. The home comfortably accommodates eight people, without feeling cramped. We loved the layout of the kitchen, dining and lounge area, where we all gathered for meals and to just hang out together. This space was perfect for our family of seven to relax and reminisce about our day on the golf course!! And to watch a bit of telly on the very large screen. There’s a second lounge, also with TV, but we seldom used it. The bedrooms are all ensuite and boast flat screen TV’s. Each bedroom is decorated beautifully, and the beds and pillows are SUPER comfortable, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. Water pressure in the showers is great. All bathrooms have heated towel rails, robes and lovely toiletries. The main ensuite is gorgeous, and I absolutely loved the free-standing bathtub. The spa garden is beautiful - the perfect place to relax on a summer’s day. The jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are an absolute treat. There is ample parking space for two cars. It’s a short stroll to all the restaurants, shops and cafés in St Andrews and a 10-15 walk to the Old Course. There are many taxi services in St Andrews, and only ever a three-minute wait for a cab. All in all, this is a wonderful property. It is well maintained, clean, comfortable and luxurious. It met all of our needs (and more). We will definitely stay here again. 5min walk to town 10min walk to the course. 4 king size double bed en-suites and a sofa bed in living room. It had everything we needed. The appliances are exceptional. You will love the coffee maker. I want that same model now! Really nice after golf in the cool air and rain. Our host is top tier. He provided us with a bottle of scotch (which we fully consumed) and a keg of delicious beer. Above and beyond! We were blown away by the standard of finish and high quality equipment. The garden area is just as beautiful with excellent amenities! The house was very comfortable, updated, and clean, with every amenity. The garden is beautiful and includes a fire pit, barbecue, sauna, and spa. Everything is even better than in the photos! Everyone in our family loved it, from pre-teens to teens to adults. The location is perfect- an easy, 7-minute walk into town. Marvyn was warm, helpful, and communicative, and he sent helpful, detailed information about all aspects of the house. There is also a lovely walk through the woods, along a creek, which is easily accessible near the house. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and comfort of this beautiful home. The location was perfect, offering easy access to all the attractions St. Andrews has to offer, including restaurants, pubs, and, of course, the golf courses. The house itself was immaculate and well-appointed, with every amenity we could possibly need. The decor was tasteful and cozy, making us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to enjoy a few home-cooked meals during our stay. The spa is exactly as what's shown in the pictures, and came in handy every day after golf. What truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service provided by the Marvyn. His hospitality and attention to detail were remarkable. From the thoughtful welcome package to the prompt and friendly communication, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We felt truly cared for and appreciated his genuine efforts to make our visit memorable. We highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in St. Andrews. The house had tons of space, with modern touches and en suite bathrooms that made it incredibly comfortable for our group. An added feature is we were able to walk to town for dinner each night. The spa room was a bonus for our tired bodies after walking 18 holes each day.We enjoyed that each of us had our own bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The entire property has been smartly updated to accommodate families and friends. The kitchen is very well appointed and as a bonus, coffee was in the cupboard.
