The apartment is tastefully appointed throughout and comfortably sleeps 4 in one double bed and one double sofa bed (in lounge). Head up the one of a kind spiral staircase to a rooftop terrace replete with its own seating area and BBQ. The apartment is situated at the top of the main stairwell, up two flights of stairs. Upon entering the apartment, a hallway leads to the living room/kitchen at the front of the property, a shower room, and the bedroom at the rear of the building. Amazing location with a wonderful roof top patio. We only had two nights in St. Andrews and the weather did not let us enjoy the patio, but I imagine had it improved, we would have spent our evenings up there. I spent the evenings and mornings enjoying the lovely window seat with the wonderfully warm wool blanket and pillows watching the rain and the activity of the street below. There were very good instructions for all the workings of the apartment in a binder and a visitors guide we appreciated. Great location. A bit more compact than I expected, but I'd happily stay there again. Note to VRBO--no one responded when I was having difficulty checking into the property. It should be made clear that there is a separate management company which you have to create a separate app in order to communicate with management (which was closed--no after hours response to our calls). Details were issued earlier, scattered among multiple marketing emails, the VRBO app and the management app--hard to navigate. We almost had to check into a nearby hotel because no one responded to assist with our problem while standing out in the freezing cold/rain late at night.
