Niksen Cabins for 2 people on the lake

Niksen, Dutch concept of having the benefits of doing nothing, without the guilt. This is what awaits you in this fully equipped mini chalet for 2. Relax by the lake 1 hour from Montreal, in the Laurentians . Take advantage of summer/winter outdoor activities (pedal boat, kayaks, paddle board, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, skiing) to recharge your batteries. Your dog is welcome. The chalet is fully equipped for the comfort of its guests. We rely on guests to treat the premises with utmost care.
The chalet is designed for the comfort of 2 people but can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and 2 dogs ($50 extra charge per stay) at all times (indoor and outdoor).
Niksen Cabins wishes to limit environmental impact, one night at a time. Composting and recycling are easily accessible to guests in order to reduce the stays impact.
Fishing is not allowed on the lake in order to preserve its ecosystem, protect local wildlife, and maintain the peacefulness of the area. Besides, the lake is shallow and doesn’t contain any fish species of interest.
We have always been keen on favouring local businesses when possible and reducing the environmental impact of stays. The quality products offered in bulk come mostly from local suppliers with eco-responsible philosophies :

- Oneka: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion

- Myni: cleaning products
- Unscented: dishwashing detergent
- Pure : Laundry detergent
Coffee and milk frother:
- Nespresso Original - 2 capsules per night
- Filter coffee maker (a quantity of Barista coffee is provided for the stay)
- Italian coffee maker (a quantity of Barista coffee is provided for the stay)

Tea and herbal tea: Zyo organic

- Organic Black tea, green tea and herbal teas
Basic ingredients:

- Organic sugar, salt, pepper,
- Spices: basil, oregano, thyme / Tex Mex / Sumac / Montreal steak
- Olive oil,balsamic vinegar and white vinegar
Propane BBQ with cooking utensils
Quality bedding with extra blankets and choice of pillows

A 14-50 type 40 amp electrical outlet is available for your electric car. You must use your mobile terminal (minimum 25-foot wire required).
Space for teleworking with unlimited internet 120Mbps (Cogeco Fibre)
For dogs:
- A cushion and blanket from Pooshi, a Quebec company

- towels to wipe paws
- barrier to leave the dog on the large gallery

- Unfenced land accessible to your dog that must respects the limits of the land.
