Interesting hotel at a great location
Nice room in a villa style property. Large room and bathroom. The room was clean and nice bed. The lighting in the room is a bit dull. Sea side is short walk away and nice restaurants around the area. We did not have breakfast in the hotel. The gentleman at the hotel was helpful and provided brilliant service.

Very poor..give it a miss
This villa was old & needing a good clean & maintenance. Airconditioners were either broken or not cooling correctly. Dark rooms despite the photos. Service was good by one main young man.

Nice bed and breakfast
This is really a very stylish bed and breakfast, it has 4 rooms, you can only get breakfast and that is all, no bar or evening meals, however there are plenty expensive for Sri Lanka restaurants nearby, just because you are in the very over rated fort area. Beware tuktuk drivers scam at the railway station offering tours for 80 rupees for a 1km, this is a rip off and will cost you around 4000rupees for a 7 site tour that costs 1600 from the genuine tuktuk driver, station to the hotel costs 250 rupee

Gorgeous hotel with picture-perfect grounds
Loved the architecture and tropical paradise look of this hotel. The staff were very nice though their pronunciation of English, an issue throughout Sri Lanka, sometimes made communication exceedingly difficult.

Great hotel in the centre of the Fort in Galle.
If you go expecting a luxury guest house you will not be disappointed. There are only 4 rooms in this hotel but they and the hotels are very spacious and clean. The food provided was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the old fort area of Galle which is very atmospheric.

Just a guest house.
I can't see what other reviewers see in this hotel. It is an overpriced guest house. The information on the hotel states that: "Galle Heritage Villa By Jetwing has 2 outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, and a children's pool. This spa hotel offers a bar/lounge. Additional amenities include an arcade/game room.." None of this is correct, even though I did not want most of it. There is no pool. Also "Rooms open to balconies or patios" where these are actually the common walkways to the rooms. On the other hand, it is true that the rooms are large, but they are poorly furnished without even a comfortable chair. The common areas are comfortable and stylish.

Great service, great location in Gallle Fort
Friendly staff, very attentive to my requests. Food was great. Breakfasts prepared to order. For dinner I asked the cook to make his one of his favorites and I had a great fish curry. Felt like I had my own personal chef for the time I stayed. Not fancy cooking, just good local food. Room was comfortable, bed was great, rested very well. Location convenient to tour the Galle Fort. Close to the water. All in all a great experience,

Discreet hideaway with full comfort
Unless you know it is there, you won't find this villa, which has been well restored and contains 4 guestrooms. The stay actually did not feel like in a hotel at all. Personnel were very friendly and helpful but also very discreet. Only negative point, the lack of a swimming pool (as guest, you can use the one of the Lighthouse hotel, 4km away), which would probably not fit on the property and the unavailability of drinks in the evening, compensated by the number of bars and restaurants in close proximity. Overall a very nice location.

Gorgeous hotel in the middle of Galle Fort
A beautiful renovation with high (really high"!!!) ceilings, spacious rooms, 4 poster beds, clean bathrooms and a calm atmosphere helped by the friendly, attentive but not obtrusive staff. Location is great being right in the middle of fort and a 5-10min walk from anything that's even remotely worth seeing. Loved it here!

Idilic location and accomodation
We very much enjoyed our two nights here. The staff were excellent and the room was immaculate and hugh. Highly recommend.

nice visit to Galle
We had a nice stay at Heritage Villa. The staffs were very polite and friendly. The hotel is in good location just near the historic light house and seaside. Only weakpoint is there're too many mosquitos.

Good old villa just starting service...
This is a nice little hotel, but not quite ready to provide some services yet, like breakfast, for example. They are inside the olf Fort area, with no swimming pool. They are very courteos and offer you to take you for breakfast to one of the big hotels they own (Lighthouse Jetwing), but that takes some time in transportation and that bothers a bit. After one night we moved to Lighthouse and they didnt charge us any extras. We wanted to be by the sea.

A great holiday with every comfort one could wish
The hotel offered everything that one would wish to have when on holiday in a foreign country. It offered flexibility and comfort, the food was outstanding and the staff were attentive. Galle is a very nice place which offered a seaside stay and a historic experience all in one place. We thoroghly enjoyed our stay and if we are visiting the area again will certainly try and stay at this hotel.

Gem of a Hotel
Wonderful gem of a hotel with friendly staff located inside the Fort and just a short stroll from the lighthouse. As a bonus: The affiliation with Jetwing Lighthouse meant we spent a day at their pool and enjoy their beach - just a short tuk-tuk ride away.

Lot of mosquitoes inside the room.... Dirty towel until & unless we requeted the change. No sofas inside the room. just seats = no relax and Just for sleep. it is just expensive because of its location in world heritage. otherwise, it is not good hotel. Braek fast was nice compare to other conditions...

旧市街の中心部で静けさを求める方には格好の隠れ処。でも少々不満が…
世界遺産に指定されている要塞都市Galle Fortのほぼ中央にあり、見どころがある場所が全て徒歩圏内にあって、滞在期間が二泊三日の私には好都合でした。ただ、いくつか不満を感じたため、四つ星とするのはいかがなものかと思いました。一つは、朝食が午前7時半からという説明がチェックインの時点ではされず、チェックアウトの前夜にシェフがチェックアウトの時間を確認するために部屋まで来た時に初めて朝食の時刻を告げられたいう状況です。室内には内線電話もなく、私が何か質問したいときは2階の部屋から1階の事務所まで一々出向かなければなりませんでした。もう一点は、ケーブルテレビが見られると係員が自慢げに説明してくれた液晶テレビが壁付で設置されていましたが、回線を接続するための装置とテレビ本体の各々の電源プラグが違う形状をしている上に、壁にあるコンセントともどちらも合わない、しかもコンセントは1台分しかない、というお粗末ぶりで、要するに設置した時に電源を入れて映像が出ることを確認していないとしか言いようがない状態でした。係員を呼び出して対応を求めたところ、どのプラグでも接続できるタコ足用アダプターを持ってきて接続し、一応映るようにはなりましたが、画面の画素数が粗く、あまり見る気にはなりませんでした。三つ目は、いわゆるアメニティー・グッズの類が少なく、この後に宿泊したコロンボのシナモン・グランド・コロンボと比較するのは酷かもしれませんが、五つ星との差は歴然としていました。道幅が狭いため、付近を通過する車も少なく、朝、鳥の鳴き声で目座めるのは心地よいものでしたので、是非改善してより良い状態を目指してもらいたいと思います。無料のWifiの接続は概ね問題なく接続できたと思います。

Nicht zu empfehlen!
Die Villa ist sehr schön renoviert, und das wäre es auch schon. Es gibt keinerlei Besonderheiten in dieser Villa als das die Räume groß sind. Die Klimaanlage knattert genauson wie bei preiswerten Hotels, das Zimmer ist sehr einfach ausgestattet. Man muss sich um einen kleinen Beistelltisch auf dem Balkon mit den Nachbarn streiten, und nun bedenkt man, dass das Zimmer 229 € gekostet hat. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis steht in keinerlei Balance. Es gibt keine Minibar, keinen klimatisierten Raum, in welchen man sich aufhalten kann. Das Frühstück konnten wir zum Glück im großen Hotel Jetwing lighthouse einnehmen. In Galle Fort gibt es sehr viel bessere Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten zu erheblich günstigeren Preisen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

日本のホテルとは比べるまでもない…しかし、スリランカ国内ではなかなかのレベルだと思います。部屋はそこそこ広く、バス・トイレ共に広さは十分。ゴール観光するには立地も申し分ないので、ご予算の限られている方にはオススメです。
