That “heck yeah” house with the hot tub, theater room, fire pit, and serious vibe. Perfect for a couple’s escape, squad trip, or a weekend that hits different. Two living areas, wide-open layout, and cozy touches make it easy to relax, connect, and recharge. Sip cocktails, stream your favorites, or unwind under the stars. Book it before someone else does—seriously. The Space: There are about 7 stairs leading to the front of the house, 3 of which are at the sidewalk by the street and 4 more at the front door. You'll enter the front door of the home to the living room, which is seamless to the dining room and kitchen. The two bedrooms and bathroom are just off the living room, with queen beds and extra pillows and blankets in each bedroom. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking spices, cookware, knives, silverware and dishes and cups for eating meals. Off the dining room, there is a staircase that leads downstairs. Once you get to the bottom of the stairs, you'll enter the expansive theater room. Here, you'll find a 75-inch HDTV and surround sound with streaming apps downloaded so you can watch your favorite shows. (We do not provide DVD's or cable at this time.) By the staircase, you'll find the bathroom and utility room. Past the sectional, you'll find the third bedroom with queen bed, more fluffy pillows and throw blankets and a walk-in closet. Back upstairs to the kitchen, you'll exit via the sliding door to a generously-sized covered porch leading to the hot tub. Please make sure all of your guests know the hot tub rules. Don't worry about putting pool chemicals into the pool. We have a service that takes care of that for us. Pets are allowed but are not allowed on any furniture. We do charge a $20 non-refundable pet fee per night for first pet. Additional pets are $15 per night. Pet fees are nonrefundable and will be requested through the resolution center after the reservation is confirmed and prior to your stay. Pet fees must be paid prior to check in or your door code will not function at the time of check in. We provide check in instructions, including the address, WiFi, door code, pertinent info about the home, and a link to our Welcome Book 48 hours prior to check in. Hot tub awning fell in a recent snow storm and damaged outdoor furniture. It was unable to be rebuilt due to building code, so the back deck and hot tub are not covered space. Outdoor table and chairs have been replaced, though. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do have recording devices on the outside of the home, front and back, for safety and security. These cameras do record video and sound, but we respect guest privacy so we only look at the cameras if an issue arises during or after your stay. The front camera is an overhead camera at the front door and faces the street. The back camera is on the house facing the alley. No cameras are mounted in, nor do they face/record any private, guest-only areas. We do have a home security system, but do not arm it (in the kitchen.) The code is not provided to guests and it is monitored, so if you arm it and then open a door, the police will respond. We do require guests to e-sign a vacation rental agreement for stays of any length prior to check in. We request guests fill out a check-in form so that we can best prepare for your stay. Non-Airbnb Guests: Guests give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to request to screen identity and check criminal databases to confirm reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You will receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions. Guest Access: You'll have access to the entire home. Getting Around: Neighborhood is situated near Shadle Park, just minutes to downtown or north Spokane. Driving distance: 8 minutes to Deaconess Hospital 3 minutes to Downtown Spokane 21 minutes to Fairchild Air Force Base 7 minutes to Gonzaga University 32 minutes to Greenbluff 5 minutes to I-90 (east or westbound) 3 minutes to Kendall Yards 56 minutes to Mt Spokane 12 minutes to Northtown Mall. 14 minutes to Providence Holy Family (North Spokane) 9 minutes to Providence Sacred Heart (Downtown) 5 minutes to River Park Square 59 minutes to Silverwood 11 minutes to Spokane airport 16 minutes to Whitworth University Other Things to Note: While most reservations go through without a hitch, we understand that sometimes things happen. We want to offer our guests the best and most price-effective option for those incidents that we hope do not occur. We found that damage deposits can be costly, frustrating and we don't want to hold any of your hard-earned money 'just in case'. For Airbnb reservations: We do not charge a damage deposit on site because Airbnb offers AirCover. For non-Airbnb reservations: We charge a nightly fee for damage insurance in lieu of charging a damage deposit. This fee is nonrefundable and should be added to your reservation at checkout. If it is not, we will contact you to process payment for this charge. This fee pays for protection through a third-party company and covers property damage that may occur during your stay. After booking confirmation, you have the option to purchase third-party travel insurance for up to 14 days prior to your stay. Please reach out via message if you're interested in travel insurance. Airbnb does their own guest screening and we do ours. For non-Airbnb reservations, we use a quick and simple third party guest screening service. Please watch for this email and complete the appropriate steps. Message/call us if you encounter any problems or have questions about this service. We require non-Airbnb guests to submit documents to verify identity and perform background screening, which occurs through a third-party company to Safely. Cancellation policy applies to reservations that are cancelled due to guests not reading this requirement in the listing and not wanting to perform the background screening. If you request check in less than 48 hours in advance, we will ask for a photo of your Identification matching the method of payment used, and meet you on site for check in to verify your reservation is for the booked guest. The beds were comfortable and the living space open. During our stay the outside temp was over 100 every day.
