The Neighborhood: North Spokane is a beautiful residential and safe area of the city yet easy access to the sports arenas, performing arts center, airport, and downtown. Additionally, the north end of town features some of the most beautiful natural areas of the Inland Northwest. It’s not unusual to see deer, wild turkeys, and even moose in this part of town! The natural beauty, outdoor activities, and many local attractions truly make this a special area that we are proud to call home. With many rivers, 100 lakes within 60 miles, and large parks for the family, there is no shortage of things to do here. We love sharing our favorite spots so don’t hesitate to ask! Getting Around: North Spokane is well-connected by roads and highways, so having a car will allow you to explore at your own pace. Whether you bring your vehicle or utilize one of the many rental agencies, this will be the most convenient mode of transportation. For those without their own transportation Uber/Lyft both service the area and the STA bus service is also quite reliable. If you prefer something more active, North Spokane is also very bike-friendly, with several bike lanes and trails. The 60-mile-long Centennial Trail offers a scenic route for cyclists and pedestrians too! Very clean, very comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, and creatively decorated where primitive and mid-century meets modern in a beautiful way! Tirza was super responsive when we had a situation in the middle of the night and we so appreciated her helpfulness and kindness. The home was designed for peace and tranquility as well as comfort throughout.Each room in the house was designed well for functionality and ease of use. The kitchen had everything that we needed with easy to find items in order to enjoy basic meals and especially an exceptional cup of fresh brewed coffee, where both ground and whole bean coffee were made available.Each bedroom had very comfortable beds and soft linens, with plenty of closet space with hangers as well as dressers to store all of our personal belongings.I especially loved the open feel of both the dining area and the living room space. There was also plenty of room for comfortable seating in the living room, with a variety of soft lighting options as well as comfortable throws and pillows to make everyone comfortable.The outdoor space was also a nice addition with seating as well as a backyard that offered an area to pick wildflowers. We enjoyed many evenings and early mornings enjoying these spaces. The neighborhood also gave us plenty of opportunity for quiet walks where we were able to see lots of wild life. Tirza it’s also an excellent host. She is an exceptional communicator checking in to make sure our stay was going well and to see if there was anything that we needed.I highly recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a clean, well designed and peaceful space indoors and out! ##### Jeannie W. The temperature control is a bit of an issue as it requires contacting the host to adjust. Also, we found the lights from the air conditioning to be bothersome at night. It will well located away from downtown, but close to shopping and grocery stores. The kitchen is large enough for two to cook at the same time and had most of what you need to make most dishes. The living room furniture is comfortable and there were enough spots for all 5 of us to watch TV. Our host kept on communication and answered all questions quickly.
