The shower, beds, a/c, and cleanliness were great. The manager Tony helped us within minutes by carrying luggage up the four stories and a small battery issue with the safe. The location is fantastic to the old city and the bonus is the local market outside your door for very cheap meals and groceries and beer. The host was friendly and helped carry my suitcase up the 3 or 4 flights of stairs. (There is no elevator). The rooms were comfortable but mine smelled a bit musty. The alley area where the hotel entrance is was a bit shady, and the main door look wasn’t working. You could see the marina and Diocletians Palace. Toni, the host, was more than accommodating, even helped us bring our bags up which was very kind of him. We were a young couple so we didn’t mind the stairs up - there were a lot and no lift so be prepared! - it was definitely worth the walk up though, the room was clean to the touch. Would definitely stay again if ever in split!
