The property itself was unique as to where it was located and the small town, old west atmosphere. The stay was good, but we didn’t really stay because we were spending the day at silverwood theme park. We were taken back that they allowed smoking in the hotel up to a certain area, which didn’t really sit well especially when you are allergic to the smoke. It really doesn’t say that. We were also disappointed that while we were at the park, they cancelled our reservation and blamed it on upgrading the reservation software and once they found the reservation and produced the receipt we got a different room which didn’t have what I originally purchased and when asked, told that room was rented out. Not pleased, but we were ok with it until we found out that the room we stayed in was almost 1/4 the price of what I paid because it didn’t have an en-suite bathroom. All in all it was ok, but wouldn’t recommend staying their unless it’s a last resort. Even the amenities that were offered were disappointing because there was just no towels and had to use our own towels, but didn’t have enough hanging places or drier to dry the towels for continued use. So if you chose to stay bring towels and don’t expect to see any staff to even ask simple questions that a traveler might ask.
