Summary:
Welcome to Nanna and Poppa's Nest! This cozy 2/2 log cabin on 2 wooded acres sleeps up to 5. Enjoy a relaxing stay with a wood-burning fireplace, covered porches, and modern amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there's a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Extras include wireless internet, TVs with streaming, a Keurig coffee maker, and board games. Close to Fall Creek Falls and Rock Island State Parks. Pets are welcome with a fee. Most holidays require a 3-night stay.

Guest Access:
Guest have access to the entire apartment.
No smoking is allowed. (Smoking Violation fee is $350)

Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 pets on the property, subject to a non-refundable $100 pet cleaning fee per stay.

Food Delivery:
We recommend using Shipt dot com for food deliveries, which will deliver directly to the property.

Sleeping Capacity: The property accommodates up to 5 guests. The standard capacity is 4 guests, with an additional guest fee of $5 per person, per night for the 5th guest. All guests over 2 years old must be listed on the reservation. Unlisted guests will incur a fee of $50 per person, per night.

Standard Check-In: 3 PM
Early Check-In: Requests before 11 AM are subject to availability and will incur a 50% nightly rate fee.
Standard Check-Out: 11 AM
Late Check-Out: Subject to availability with fees as follows:
50% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 11 AM
75% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 1 PM
100% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 3 PM
A minimum fee of $100 applies, whichever is higher.

Supplies: Basic essential starter kits are provided. For longer stays or additional needs, please plan accordingly.

Smoking Policy: A $350 fee will be charged for smoking inside the property, including cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana.

Everything was as stated. Could use some TLC outside, there were a few light bulbs out it didn't matter there were so many. Could use some extra lighting outside at least have the detached garage lights on would have been nice. Other than that it was beautiful, clean, and was a great stay.

The coffee pot stopped working the first morning we were there. The outside needs a lot of work. The outside chairs were broken by the fire pit. The kitchen don’t have any mixing bowls.

Nice place. Very secluded and quiet. Has accommodating amenities and options to really enjoy both the indoors and outdoors. It’s very close to multiple state parks which all have amazing nature to see and experience. I will very likely be returning here in the near future!

This cabin was great, we enjoyed every night we were there & we were sad to leave I would definitely recommend this cabin for people who don’t want to be to close to neighbors and people who love hiking plenty of amazing waterfalls to go see most places were 20-30 min away

This is a lovely property! It's a perfect place to relax and get away from city life. Everything works perfectly, and the owners have thought of everything you'll need -- except a standard coffeemaker. My mother-in-law doesn't like Keurigs. Beds were comfortable, furniture was inviting, shower was very nice, even the cookware was great. The only true caveat is that it is out in the middle of nowhere, so you're going to drive a ways for a restaurant or grocery store. It's a good while to the state park as well, but it's a pretty drive for most of the trip. The property is very well maintained, and the owner's communication with us was excellent. Highly recommend this property if proximity to a town is not a priority.

We truly enjoyed the cabin. It was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect to visit state parks in the area. We hiked during the day and relaxed in the afternoon. The cabin had everything you needed to enjoy your stay.

Great rest
Me and my friend need a break from the day to day grind and this cozy little place was the perfect place to do that. The location was far enough away from the main roads that all i could hear was nature itself, the place was amazingly clean and provided plenty of accommodations that we didnt have to take much with us.

Peaceful Indeed!
The chair swings along with a hot cup of coffee or tea made for an excellent start to the day. It’s so peaceful until an acorn hits the tin roof and startles one back to reality. If you’re unfortunate enough to sleep in the twin bedroom, be prepared for a peaceful nights sleep in a very uncomfortable bed. Other than the above issue, the property is perfect for a peaceful memory making stay.

This cabin is beautiful. You can sit in the front and swing or got to the back and bbq. There’s a fire pit with chairs. Or sit and relax on the covered patio. Inside is set up for true comfort. Very quiet and a true way to spend time with your family and friends. And it is dog friendly. A place for all. Loved it.

Mostly good, but...
Wife is sensitive to odors so I mentioned that when I booked unit. When we got there, the smell of Lysol or some such cleaner was overwhelming. We had to open the doors to try and air it out, though it was quite chilly outside. When we left 2 days later, you could still detect the smell. My wife had a miserable allergy reaction until we left. The smell was very unpleasant for me as well. Internet was not working when we arrived and therefore no TV. It took a day to get it fixed. Tried the DVDs and the remote needed batteries. Also, in the high winds, something on the roof started rattling. I thought the cleaning fee was excessive for 2 days, but over a week it might be reasonable. I thought the cleaning fee was excessive for 2 days, but over a week it might be reasonable. Would I rent it again? Not unless they do something about the nasty cleaning odor.

The cabin was very cozy and had everything I needed. I loved the front porch with the cushioned swings. The area was very quiet and woodsy. The location is excellent. It’s right between so many great parks, hiking trails and waterfalls. I also felt like I could reach out if there was anything that I needed - but I already had everything I could need!

No stove no heat
When first arriving to the cabin after being on the road for 13 hours we got there and the cabin wasn't ready it was about 7pm the cabin was supposed to be ready at 3pm...once we got in the house we had a handwritten note telling us not to use the stove it was broken...after going back and forth with Stevens reality company we finally got the stove...then the weather changes and we have a cold snap and the heat stopped working...we contacted Stevens reality to let them know about the heat ...they finally sent someone out with space heaters about 10hours later ...I had to put the space heaters together myself...at one point Stevens reality wanted me to stay at the house and wait for a repair man...ahhh no I'm on vacation if Stevens reality owns the house then they should've been the one's waiting for any repair men

This is a great property and the Stevens management company are excellent with communicating. The property was very clean. It is peaceful and quiet. The only reason I gave a three on accuracy of the online listing was because it says in the description that pets are free. But then in the fine print, it says that there is a cleaning fee for pets and states the amount. When I ask about the charge, they indicated that there is a difference between the language used. Pets do stay free, but there is a pet cleaning fee. When one thing is stated in one part of the listing and the cleaning pet fee is listed in the small print. It appears that they are trying to deceive the customer. It is a great place to stay for peace and quiet.
