The space includes 2 bedrooms with single beds and a shared bathroom. There is a full kitchen and a cozy living room area. The space sits in the middle of an aging orchard, carved from the middle of 80 acres of cattle pastures and woodland. However, we’re located only ten miles away from Lincoln Memorial University as well as the town of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, and the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. We're also only minutes away from 3 marinas on Norris Lake and the Tackett Creek OHV Trail Head. Beautiful country views with easy access to groceries, shopping, and restaurants. Our favorite part of the stay for the week was being 20 minutes from the Cumberland Gap National Historic park. The hiking and views were amazing! The location of the home also allows for quick day trips. We spent a day in Knoxville and a day horseback riding at Jayell Ranch and stopped at the Bush’s Baked Beans Visitors Center on the way. So fun! Denton was a wonderful host! It was clean and well maintained, communication was excellent, and Denton was very accommodating. The location was lovely and peaceful and away from large roads. We went for walks and passed lots of horses and cattle, and it was altogether very tranquil and exactly what we were looking for. The only slight con was that it was summer and the only AC was a window unit in the main room, so when we closed our bedroom doors to sleep, we were too hot.
