The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. It is another hour’s walk from the route so we were grateful to Simon for picking us up and dropping us off the next morning, for a small fee. Comfortable room. We ate dinner at the Old Station, a short walk away, which was very good. There is a comfortable guest lounge but unfortunately it was taken up with people reading so no access to the only TV in the accommodation. Summer duvets would be an asset to our room as well as a TV. The whole place was extremely quiet.
