The NCR Trail was once part of the Northern Central Railroad (thus the name), but the tracks were converted to a smooth, flat, crushed gravel trail to accommodate for cyclists, walkers, and runners. My favorite time to go is on cool September evenings, when the weather is nice and the warm beams of light steaming through the forest and fields are perfect, just as in the picture above..
