It is close to the market and close to the restaurants. Eagles Landing is literally right in your front door and is such a good restaurant to go to. The pistachio cake is amazing! The house itself is wonderful. It has everything you need. It’s roomy and comfortable, and we loved the patio and the deck. The beach, which is in your backyard,is beautiful and not crowded at all. My teen boys loved the kayak and paddle board. If I had to describe our vacation in three words, it would be simple, relaxing, and peaceful. If we ever come back to this island, I will want to stay at Palmetto cottage again. It has all the amenities you need as far as washer and dryer and all the cookware that you need. We had the most wonderful time in this lovely house. Our grandsons spent countless hours in the beautiful water learning to snorkel and playing in the sand. The home was cozy and so enjoyable. Gabby was a friendly and helpful gift to us, going above and beyond! There can’t be a prettier place on the island❤️ ##### Janice B. The cottage was ideal for my family with 2 kids and my parents. The kitchen was well stocked, each room had a private bathroom, and the air condition kept us comfortable! We enjoyed the beach which was just steps away from our home. The sandbar in front made us feel comfortable with the kid’s swimming. We had a couple of maintenance issues and the manager was quick to respond. Overall the island was charming.
