Partially renovated in 2025, the unit is on the second level of a five-level condo building. The space offers 2 cozy bedrooms with queen beds and a futon couch/bed in the living area for additional guests. Southwest Harbor is known as the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island. There are many hikes, walks, and attractions in nearby Acadia National Park, such as the Seawall, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Echo Lake Beach, and hiking trails at Acadia, Saint Sauveur, Flying, Beech, Mansell, and Bernard Mountains. There are several places for lobster nearby! 24-minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor 6-minute drive to Echo Lake Beach 7-minute drive to the Seawall 8-minute drive to Bass Harbor Lighthouse We are happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our apartment. This unit is located on the second floor, with a streetside ground-level entrance at the front of the building and a rear entrance with outside stair access. The street-side entrance opens to a hallway with interior entrances to two units- “Seawall” and “Manset.” Seawall Unit: Bedroom 1 Queen bed- sleeps 2 Ceiling fan Bedroom 2 Queen bed- sleeps 2 Ceiling fan Additional Sleep Space Living Area: Futon couch that opens into a full-size bed- sleeps 2 Bathroom Shower Hair dryer Travel-size shampoo, conditioner, and soap Kitchen Coffee Maker- ground coffee, tea bags provided Microwave Oven Dishwasher Cookware Olive oil, cooking spray, salt & pepper Laundry Full-size washer and dryer (free); detergent and softener provided Outdoor Space Small deck at back entrance with table and chairs, partial harbor view. This deck is designated for the Seawall unit. Be aware that the entrance to the three upstairs units is at the far end of this deck. Shared parking for the building is available in the back, although there are no designated spaces. Television ROKU Smart TV- You can log in to your apps and services. No cable. WiFi provided. Air Conditioning & Fans Each bedroom is equipped with a portable air conditioning unit. There is a ceiling fan in the main living area and in each bedroom, as well as a portable fan in the bedrooms. \~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~ We will send instructions on accessing the apartment after the reservation is made. You can contact us during your stay if you have any needs or concerns. Please note: This is an older building with limited insulation located on busy Main Street. There is regular traffic and traffic noise, and limited insulation between floors may allow noise from neighbors. If there is excessive noise from neighbors, guests can contact me so I can help to resolve the issue. Please respect the building’s quiet time between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please refrain from running the washer or dryer during that time to minimize noise disturbance to other units. Please be out of the unit by 11:00\. Veuillez quitter l'unité à 11h00\.
