A Back yard with a picnic table, fire pit, hammock and other seating surrounded by perennial gardens and flower pots. All only steps away from a quaint New England Downtown with a few dozen restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Including a brewery, arcade bar, axe throwing, escape room, coffee roaster and chocolate shop. As well as art spaces, a Homestead museum, rails to trails and several fairs and festivals. Located in the center of the state you have easy access all Connecticut has to offer. In an hour15 to 2 hours you can take a day trip to NYC, Boston, The Cape, Berkshire mountains, Providence and New Port RI. The whole first floor is it depicted in the pictures, they will be made available as soon as the rooms are done. Less than 10 minutes to Lake compounds amusement park, Bear Creek camp ground, ESPN and Mount Southington. Centrally located in the center of the state, 30 minutes from Hartford or New Haven. Less than two hours to NYC, Boston, Cape Cod Providence or Newport, RI beaches. Didn't use the kitchen much so cannot speak to how stocked it was or wasn't, but bedrooms and living area were clean and comfortable. Be aware that it is \*old\* and historical, so lots of quirks in size of rooms and the bathroom is very small, but we loved it. You are also on the bottom floor, so if another family/guest is on top of you and you are bothered by that sort of thing just be aware. The house has so many lovely touches - plenty of dishes, cups, great pots and pans and even a small assortment of spices to cook with. Beds are comfortable and the washer and dryer work well. We met the owner and he knows a ton about the area and had great recommendations for us on things to do and see. The area is very walkable and super cute. We’ll absolutely come back. ##### Aimee E. He was very responsive, I met him and he is very invested in doing well. The house is nice, roomy, wifi had no issues, window AC in every room, surprisingly quiet (AC was on), ample parking.
