Welcome to our charming retreat, where comfort meets convenience. This home provides ample space on two floors for your group. The first floor has Bedroom 1 with a cozy Queen bed and a versatile futon that unfolds into a Full bed, and Bedroom 2 with another inviting Queen bed. Upstairs, Bedroom 3 offers a Queen bed with a private bath, and Bedroom 4 has a comfortable Queen bed with a private access door to the shared bath. Please note that the bunk bed in the home is specifically designed for children and should not be used by adults, especially on the top bunk. The bottom bed of the bunk can safely hold up to 400 lbs, and we kindly ask our guests not to jump off the bunk for safety reasons. External cameras will be monitored, and any sign of a party will result in eviction. \- We may request Proof of Identification from any/all guests in the reservation at any time before or during the check-in process. If any guest(s) refuse to provide the requested identification, the entire group will not be able to stay, and you will not be entitled to a refund. \- Engaging in any illegal activities, including underage drinking, smoking marijuana on the property, loitering outside past quiet hours, or hosting a party without the host's consent, will result in immediate eviction without refund. \- Extra guest charge $30/pp/PER NIGHT, regardless of whether they stay or not. \- No extra guests allowed inside the unit unless approved by the host before booking confirmation. If you try to bring unwarranted guests in, you may be forced to leave without refund. So, don’t risk it. \- Unauthorized late checkouts will incur a $100/hr fee in 1-hour increments, up to a maximum of 2 hours. Any time beyond 2 hours will result in an additional $500 fee. \- Smoking inside the unit will lead to a $350 OZONE cleaning fee, in addition to any security deposit. \- Forgotten items mailed to guests incur a $50 charge plus shipping costs. \- Quiet hours begin at 10:30 pm. \- The first noise/neighbor complaint after quiet hours will result in a $250 fine. Additional complaints lead to immediate termination of the stay with no refund. \- Parking cars on the grass incurs a $250 fine per car. \- Reservation changes are subject to approval, and if allowed, a minimum of 50% of adjusted/removed dates will be withheld by the host. No reservation date adjustments allowed within 30 days of booking. \- Guests must clean up all garbage from the yard every night, or an excessive cleanup fee of $50 will apply. \- Thermostats are set to a threshold of 68-72 degrees. Please plan accordingly. \- Early check-in and late check-out must be paid for at the time they are approved. No refunds. \- All issues should be reported within 3 hours after check-in. With photographic evidence. \- All issues that are not reported will not be eligible for a partial or full refund. \- Communication is very important to us. The host management (TYCA) was defensive and unhelpful when issues were raised.We found live cockroaches. A major issue confirmed by previous reviews noting the host knew about the problem and had placed poison out. This is a severe health and hygiene failure.The house has multiple maintenance failures:• Interior stairs are dangerously steep with a loose tread.• A broken floorboard in the kitchen caused injury.• Exterior side steps became dangerously icy.The listing photos are misleading/doctored. Carpets were visibly dirty and stained. Towels smelled strongly of mildew, contrary to host claims of daily laundering. The basement bath has a large ceiling water stain and a broken drain plug.When we reported the cockroach, TYCA reacted aggressively and defensively, denying the issue. They offered unreasonable relocation options late at night. We noted they also appear to post generic, fake 5-star reviews to obscure the true condition of the property.We strongly advise potential renters to look elsewhere. Our host was communicative as needed and super quick to respond. We appreciated the supplies left for us. We all relied on each other to bring products-- so when we all realized that no one had-- it saved the day. The kitchen is the heart of the home and it was where we sat to eat and reminisce over our younger years. Bedrooms are comfortable and ample. One trash can of two outside was already full and so we made do filling the second and just made it to the end of our stay. The carpet in the TV room upstairs is easily tripped on as the adhesive tapes placed there do not work. The lamp on the left side of the couch in the main TV room has a faulty switch. The frying pans in the kitchen are very old and difficult to clean as well as much use as they have had, some new non stick pans would benefit that kitchen set. WE did not use or touch the outdoor furniture on the rear porch as it was too cold, but you need to check them out as there are many pieces that are broken with torn seats etc. These are minor things we bring to your attention even though we all feel the house gave us all pleasure to stay at with a nice quiet neighborhood and many convenience stores etc. nearby.
