This hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs. My friend and I had brought two bicycles with us, and when we asked if there was somewhere inside we could keep them, they let us keep them in a room that was undergoing renovations that was right next to an outside door. That way we wouldn't have to go through the lobby every time we wanted to ride. The room was very clean and well put together, and I loved the fact that the window could open so that we could get some fresh air into the room. Very nice hotel, the lobby was very warm and inviting. Although we didn't get a chance to go swimming, the pool looked pretty nice, and was very clean and well maintained. The people that work there clearly care about that hotel and all the guests that stay there. Excellent, excellent.
The hotel was nice, attractive, well-kept & overall a good value. Only negatives was the bed was too hard for me & it's been a long time since I've been in a shower with a flow restrictor let alone one so restrictive. Had to stand in the shower 5 minutes just to get wet (it seemed).
Antonio is an awesome desk clerk I needed a room with a microwave and a refrigerator and he looked through all of his rooms to find one that had both to accommodate me he went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I asked for to make my stay comfortable

I've been staying here at the Lamplighter for years. Big, clean, comfortable rooms at a very good price. All the amenities, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, refrigerator. A bit removed from The Plaza, downtown Santa Fe, but not a big deal. Large parking lot, and huge mall just south. Close to Jackalope. I'll be back.
South of downtown, historic buildings give way to residential neighborhoods and modern construction. A network of highways and an interstate connect this area with the cultural amenities of the old city. Southern Santa Fe includes the Santa Fe Municipal Airport and Santa Fe Place shopping center.
