"We enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Hanasaari very much. It is a 15 minute scenic walk from the Kouvusaari Metro (once on the Metro, it is only a 10 minute ride to the main Helsinki Railway station). The room had a very comfortable bed, tea and coffee service, picture window with gorgeous water view, and a nice bathtub. Breakfast was very satisfying with good variety. "I unexpectedly had a 1 day layover in Helsinki and had to make arrangements last minute. If you are a woman alone traveling and need a fast and safe place to stay this is absolutely a great choice. The shuttle was on time, the hotel was clean and accommodating. My room was small as expected but clean and comfortable, perfect for one person. The restaurant was good as well and the server was a delightful man with a sense of humor. If I’m ever in this situation again I won’t hesitate to come back....

"Although it is some distance from the city, the location of the hotel to the close proximity of mall and cinema made it convenient to shop up till closing and watch a late night movie. The room in the new wing was fresh and comfortable. Enjoyed the large window with a view of the forest and the modern smart TV. Breakfast gets crowded quickly. The options look alot but food is basic and taste average. "
