First the bad; we had a non-smoking hotel room and there were cigarette burns on both bedspreads, there was hair in the sink upon arrival, 3 out of 6 small pillows had stains and food (or something???) on the cases, there wasn't a fitted bed sheet on either bed so we woke up to it completely bunched up beneath us and the fridge was barely cold. After coming back from our concert we had to drive around the building to find a parking spot and we noticed what appeared to be a either a drug deal going down or 2 guys soliciting a prostitute. Needless to say, we found a parking spot as far away as possible.
Now the good; the beds were comfortable despite the lack of fitted sheet, the coffee at the continental breakfast was good, and the staff really were nice.
To be completely honest, I've stayed at worse but for what looks like a decent neighborhood in the daylight I'd expect much better.
