We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! The comfortable, warm room on a freezing January night was most welcome, as were the open log fires in the bar/restaurant. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating and the food was to a very good standard. This was a lovely country pub in a lovely area. It was easily accessible. The room was a good size for a twin and the staff were very friendly. This B&B was a great little find for our overnight stay. Room was comfortable and clean with a super comfy bed. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The pub was busy when we arrived and seemed very popular, if you fancy food or a drink it all looked great.
