Cannot fault the staff, the service is excellent. Area around building is poor, small entrance, dirty car park in front, not a good first impression. Room large and comfortable, bathrooom spacious and clean. Lack of power sockets near beds and lack of comfortable chair near power sockets made relaxing with phone or laptop etc difficult. Hair dryer missing. Good tea facilties, excellent TV, very comfortable beds. Food at breakfast very average - hot and plentiful but cheap sausages, watery eggs etc. Must stress again that the staff were lovely and the overall stay was comfortable, just let down a bit by the area, the food, layout of rooms.

I stayed in room 803 and the floor at the foot of the bed was damp, there was a foul odour in the room throughout the duration of my stay, the room was cold and the tiny heater did little to change this (it also made a horrible sound when it was on). I was in “Business Class” and not once was my room tended to, hotel states that it’s a king sized bed however it’s just two singles put together. The room was dirty, cracks in the ceiling in the bathroom, minuscule amounts of body wash/shampoo/conditioner/soap (remember this was business class). TV was so small I needed binoculars to view it from my bed. I’ve never missed my mum’s womb before but I did whilst staying here.

Stayed here during a cycling break. The staff helped me store my bicycle in a storage room so didn’t need to bring into my room. Good chat with the front room. Easy access to city centre and restaurants. Right in the middle of a cycle lane that goes around the city. Definitely worth going back to this hotel 👍

Would stay again, very reasonable room with a nice shower, no complaints for the price but you get what you pay for to an extent

The stay was pleasant, comfortable and the room served its purpose. Property is outdated and in need of refurbishment, an affordable place within a 10 minute walk of the city. The advert which entices you more with a free breakfast, however, the breakfast is a 4/10 at best.
