Loved the hotel its quirkiness, with the old style building. Its a great location for the tram, restaurants and nightlife. Its very clean and the beds are very comfy so had a restful nights sleep. Car park was secure and had reserved spaces for Leopald Hotel, parking was worth 15 as its very secure and only a 6 minite walk to the hotel. Booked breafast at check in this cost £12 pp. I would recommend staying here and will definitely be staying here again.

The situations of the Hotel is great,only a 5 minute walk to center,right on the Tram route, which is the only negative thing,as it was loud when we were in our room and woke me when it starts around 6am. This wouldn't stop me from returning, I would just ask for a different room. The Staff were Fantastic and so Polite. Also I would recommend the Breakfast. Thank You 😊

Staff were friendly and efficient (great to see that Peter is still on hand as a wonderfully helpful night porter). Hotel is extremely well-located to shops and restaurants, as well as within walking distance of the train station.

Great location for the City Hall with bars & restaurants in abundance in the area. Staff were fantastic! Had a mezzanine room but a little disappointed with it. Basic things like limited light for my wife to do her hair/make-up etc…and, to have the room lights on downstairs, you had to have them on upstairs which was bizarre! Breakfast on Sunday morning was chaotic to say the least

Lovely hotel with a lovely history. To bring this history to life there are photos around the hotel showing the time it was a technical college. Small gym but every time I have stayed I have been the only user so it perfectly adequate.

Very affordable. Friendly staff. We were on the lower ground and could hear the trams rumbling a bit but they stop at a reasonable hour. The bed was comfortable The breakfast was really good. My only criticism is that it's impossible to close the bedroom doors quietly and there were a few guests returning in the early hours and we woke up with every door clunk.

I love staying at the Leopold. It’s in a great location for shopping, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The staff are always polite and helpful. Very clean everywhere and the breakfast is delicious too!!

We had a lovely stay and would heartily recommend Leopold Hotel. Staff was lovely. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great.The dining options at the hotel was limited but what we had to eat was lovely and fresh. Hopefully we'll be able to visit again soon. Thank you to all at Leopold Hotel 🏩

Poor standard
The old school masters office was too small. The tv didn't work, there was a 4th extension hidden behind the tv this also had a split in cable. The climate control want working hence the oil filled heater

I didn’t feel the hotel lived up to the images on its website. My room was tiny and quite dated. However the staff were friendly and the bar area is lovely for a nightcap with colleagues after a long day. The location is also excellent for the city centre.

Great location. Everything close by, take care if you eat in square charge at Beaumont service of 10% added to bill with out asking, advised it was automatic,complained and was refunded,although you receive discount in the square for staying at Hotel there is better eateries close by The hotel is outstanding, rooms are a good size,very comfortable. Everything you need hairdryer,iron and board mini fridge safe,full size kettle! great service, free cancellation as a security, pay on arrival. Tram stop close by and cheap to use Absolutely recommend this hotel, beautiful building and service

Fantastic hotel great location
Close to bars, restaurants etc, right in the heart of Sheffield. Only gripe... it's a bit of a long walk to their off site parking when you have heavy luggage.

Beware a room by the lifts
Room 108 sits on the ground floor by the lifts. Throughout the night people would come in and shout and laugh, and bang the fire door right next to the room. I only got to sleep once everyone was back in at 0300, after trying to get an early night at 2200. As is the case nowadays, not even asked if I had a nice stay on check out - staff don't want to hear of any issues.

Great stay!
Great hotel, excellent location in city centre. We ended up in a mezzanine room as the others were all full. Very spacious! Breakfast was great also.

Another lovely stay!
This was our third visit to the Leopold. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely breakfast both mornings - the breakfast team were very friendly and organised. We love this hotel - so much character!
