Welcome to 'Our Oceanview', a 2800sq ft family owned home in South Yarmouth directly in front of Middle Beach. The ocean is right outside your door - just bring flip flops! This home is truly beauty and the beach, boasting the warmest waters of the Cape on Nantucket sound. Enjoy 180 degree ocean views from the living room or climb up the winding staircase to the captains deck to hear the waves. Relax on our three back decks, or play cornhole in the fenced in yard while grilling on the spacious stone patio. Cape Codā€™s top beaches like Smuggler's - and the famous Skipper restaurant are a 5min walk, while a short drive away (5miles) are some of your favorite grocery stores, shopping and kids activities (Cape Cod Inflatable park, Pirate's Museum and Pirate's Cove mini golf). If you choose to venture into Hyannis, you are 5 miles away from the ferries that travel to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard for a day trip. Dennis is also 5 miles away, making this an ideal location for a week of fun! Our home is an upside down house, which means you enter through the lower floor. This home has an in law suite with two stair wells and is fully connected indoors as one home. The in law suite was the original house from 1965, while the newer side was added in 2003. \* Bedroom1: King bed with en suite bath. No stairs & Great for grandparents. \* Bedroom 2: Kids bedroom with bunk beds and optional rolling crib. \* Both of these bedrooms have pocket doors with blackout curtains. There is an open floor plan outside of these bedrooms, where kids can run/play puzzles/games. \* Bedroom 3: Upstairs is one queen bedroom with a private balcony and Adirondack chairs. \* Bedroom 4: One king bedroom (octopus rug room). These bedrooms have AC units in them. Down a separate set of stairs, there is the original 1960ā€™s retro in law studio apartment with a kitchen, tv area brand new pullout couch and half bathroom with AC unit. This is where we prepare meals for outdoor entertaining and where our friends and grandparents also stay. There is a final king trundle up the spiral staircase loft above the kitchen with a private viewing deck. There are 7 beds total including the loft and sleeper sofa. We have central AC on one side of the home and brand new AC units in 2 upstairs bedrooms plus in law suite. We have a private parking lot that fits 3-4 vehicles and provide salon grade shampoos, Turkish bath towels and Shark Tankā€™s famous Sand Cloud beach (sand free) blankets. We also provide a Baby Bjorn, booster seat, pack n play, beach umbrellas, all terrain beach wagon and toys. We had a group of 8 ranging from 4 to 82 years old, and the home was comfortable for everyone to spread out yet be together on the beautiful main floor overlooking the ocean. The kids enjoyed all the toys and outdoor play area, as well as the beach toys. The house comes with beach chairs, towels, beach blanket, and wagon to make a day at the beach so easy. We explored the nearby towns and ate at several restaurants recommended by Monica and Nate. Our favorites were the Sesuit Cafe and Skipperā€™s. The proximity to the beach and the fact that they provide the beach towels, the buggy, the sand toys, the chairs make traveling so much easier. Not to mention the house was spotless, the linens, sheets, towels and amenities were above any beyond any rental. I have rented in the vineyard and cape for 40 years and this house provided more amenities than I have ever received. Even having a 13 month granddaughter they had boosters, gates and other accommodations. Canā€™t wait to go back next year. And also by far the best beach ever. Host was awesome to work with. All your decor was so beautiful and your attention to detail about everything was tasteful. All the beds were comfy with high class linens and if we forgot something it was on hand there! Monica and Nate have a beautiful open-concept house very close to a fantastic soft sand beach. The hosts are very responsive to questions, and when we had a little issue with the shower, they responded and addressed it immediately. Their hospitality was also top notch - the house was stocked with most anything you would need for a large family with small kids (we ended up bringing more than was necessary) and the generous gift bag was a really nice touch. The check in and check out policies were also very low maintenance. This was our first family vacation with all of our very young kids, and we made some wonderful memories thanks a lot to this great house. The home is perfection, plenty of room for everyone and tastefully decorated for beach retreat comfort. The proximity to the water is absolutely amazing. Even though it wasn't exactly warm, an evening stroll on the beach to watch the sunset is a perfect way to end the day. The location is fantastic within a mile of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and more. During the summer I imagine the location is even more ideal under a mile to mini--golf, a water park and of course the private beach access. Check & Check out was a breeze. We found it to be exactly as described in the listing. What might not be as clear is how the in-law suite works. While we didn't use the hide-a-bed downstairs on the patio level, we did make use of the kitchen and refrigerator for the outside patio and grilling. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of kitchen utensils. We cooked 3 meals during our week and found everything we needed. I saved the best for last and that's the views from the various decks and the very close proximity to the beach itself. A beautiful house and we had such a great time. The location is perfect - three houses back from South Middle Beach. The house is perfect - just right for a mixed age family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 boys. The boys each had their own sleeping space which made for less commotion.The weather was perfect - mostly sunny but with a few days to skip the beach and go off on adventures. And the view from the back deck was perfect, too. Monica and Nate were wonderful hosts and very receptive to email communication. Linens and towels were provided and the extra beach chairs came in handy. Monica has thought of everything to make the perfect vacation. Thanks for a great 2 weeks! ##### Susannah J. While 3 houses off beach, it really is only a few steps to the sand, and a very nice view of the ocean from the living area. Decent kitchen, reasonably well appointed, comfortable common room area, overall pretty nice. It has 4 proper bedrooms, including a small bunk room. It has an additional bed in a loft over the common area that is not private and might be hot in summer. It is effectively a two family that can be combined, with a second kitchen that is pretty basic. The second common area has a sleep sofa, which is uncomfortable for an adult. There are two adjoining stairs, one for each side, with the common connection at the top of the stairs. Host was very responsive to some minor issues we had - so no complaints there. ##### Carl V. We booked this lovely home because we had a small wedding in town. The house was absolutely stunning and exceeded our expectations! The water views upstairs were spectacular and the layout was open and comfortable enough for 2 families. It felt like the ocean was directly in our kitchen! Even though it is December, the rooms were very sunny, relaxing and brought me back to summer. We took a stroll on the beach to watch the sunset that was only 10 steps from the door. Everything was sparkling clean and the beds were high quality and especially comfortable. We really enjoyed the decor and the open floor plan kitchen where we cooked meals together. The boys loved the open space downstairs and the toys. The hostā€™s guide was very informative, providing us with various restaurants and shopping ideas nearby. We even had a chance to check out the pirateā€™s museum with the kids. Itā€™s challenging to find a house this large and beautiful right by the ocean without making compromises on comfort. This location had it all and we could tell it was well loved. We have already booked another stay to return for a trip in July! Thank you! ##### Natalie H.
