"Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. "

"There is nothing you could complain about. The beds are lovely, nice pillows and very cloud like duvet. Perfectly clean and comfortable room. Our dogs were welcome in their pet-friendly rooms and even given a sausage breakfast to their delight. We’ve eaten here many times. The roast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Always the same high standard. This is the vacation “local” pub that you wish your village had. And so reasonably priced for the service and quality. "

"We arrived to enjoy a Xmas break with family and our pets. The cottage was amazing, clean warm and spacious. We cooked Xmas dinner, all the facilities were there and we popped down to the beaches and local pubs and shops.Jon and Caroline were lovely, and left us to enjoy Jasmine Cottage."

"What a lovely stay at Newberry Beach Lodge. The property itself is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! "First impressions were not so good. Walking into the garden to be met with rubbish bags with maggots. The garden is scruffy and there isn’t a drying line. Having said all that the house is furnished nicely, the downstairs shower is very small, not suitable for a larger person. We didn’t have any bath towels but this was quickly rectified. No welcome pack, a carton of milk would have been nice. "
