During the day we visited family and hosted a wonderful lunch for our Mom's 80th birthday. Local family were completely enchanted by the large yard and scenic location as all used to camp on Moulinette Island in years past and always speak fondly of the area. Outdoors we barbecued on the back patio, gathered around the wood fire pit in the Adirondack chairs for the total solar eclipse, and warmed our hands around the gas fire table on the modern deck situated right on the water. In the evenings we cuddled up with your soft fluffy blankets on the couch and were able to watch our own Netflix account. The master bed was soft and comfortable. And holy water pressure! I've never seen water pressure mentioned in a review before but it's worth noting. At first you might think you're being sandblasted by the rainfall shower head but then you realize you're getting the best scalp massage ever. The host, Debbie, was incredibly responsive and the property was exactly as advertised. The inside of the cottage has been beautifully updated and is very clean. The deck is spectacular with beautiful views of the water and is an awesome place to enjoy a BBQ or lounge around. The highlight of our visit was the proximity to the water - and getting to enjoy the kayaks and the paddle boards every day.
