My favorite part of the experience of my family’s six day stay was our oceanfront view from our bouncy. Waking up to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets every morning and evening. The only thing I didn’t like was that our bouncy door was broken but they had a repairman come and fix it, which I will let it slide. Otherwise I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to come enjoy South Padre Island. Some items inside need some attention but nothing bad. I understand the sea and its constant salt takes it toll on properties. As does renting out. Our apartment had a box with beach toys which was fun for my nephews from The Netherlands, who were on their first trip to the U.S. steps from beach, didnt use pool. Rules are clearly posted inside. But overal I had this " I paid too much" feeling while staying there. Maybe not a fair statement, somethings simply seemed to need some attention. Due to the size of our group (5, husband couldn't make it last minute) it was less expensive then 3 hotel rooms for 3 nights.
