Conveniently located next to the Beach Park at Isla Blanca (formerly Schlitterbahn Water Park). If your timing is right, you can view a SpaceX launch from the main balcony. The entire condo has been recently updated and is professionally decorated in soothing neutral tones. The Sea Vista complex offers two swimming pools and hot tubs, two tennis courts, secure, on-site parking and direct, private access to the beach, just steps from your door. Our condo is located on the 4th floor, with inside elevator access and provides lots of privacy and quiet---beyond you there is nothing but dunes, beach and sea. The spacious living/dining area has floor-to-ceiling views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as access to the main balcony. This is where you'll want to be, sipping your favorite beverage, enjoying the soft ocean breezes and watching the ships come and go or the occasional pod of bottle-nose dolphins play in the surf. The master en-suite with floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows has a king size plush mattress, small sitting area, a flat screen TV and attached master bath. The master bath has a tiled walk-in shower with a 'rain' shower head and granite vanity top. A second mini-master bedroom with floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows and a sliding glass door out to a small balcony overlooking the pool, hot tub and tennis court has a plush queen size mattress, small sitting area, flat screen TV and a Keurig coffee maker. The third bedroom has two plush full size beds with access to the same balcony overlooking the pool. There is also a sitting area, flat screen TV, desk and a Keurig coffee maker. These two guest bedroom share the guest bathroom which has a tub/shower combination and granite vanity top. all three bedrooms have their own built in closets. All bedrooms and bathrooms are outfitted with luxury linens and towels. We also provide a Pack-N-Play with mattress pads and sheets for your little one. Paper products and soaps are provided to get you started for your arrival, even shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen is designed especially as a "cook's kitchen" with granite counter tops, a breakfast bar with additional seating for 4, new stainless steel appliances, including a convection range, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with ice maker. It is stocked with high quality dishes and glassware, as well as many small appliances, including a gourmet coffee maker and a bean grinder. There is a good supply of herbs and spices to enhance your cooking pleasure. Paper towels and trash bags to get you started are supplied for your arrival and there are some cleaning supplies. To increase your vacation enjoyment, there are 4 smart flat-screen TVs throughout the condo. The large wall-mount smart TV is in the living area and there are smart flat screen TVs in each bedroom. Time-Warner cable and password protected WiFi is provided. The condo is fully air-conditioned and has four ceiling fans throughout. A full-size washer and dryer are also conveniently located right inside the condo. Washing liquids are provided to get you started. For your your beach time pleasure we provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels and boogie boards. As a visitor to Sea Vista, you may purchase discounted Beach Park at Isla Blanca (formerly Schlitterbahn Water Park) tickets available only through the Sea Vista office during the summer. There are many good restaurants and bars located nearby, within walking distance. We especially enjoy the units on the south end of the south building (110 Gulf Blvd.). We had our best friends with us this time - 4 adults in a 3br/2ba This was our 1st time in this particular unit - #403\. Short answer: we won’t rent it again. While it is the same size as the other units we’ve stayed in, it felt crowded and small because they have too much furniture and stuff crammed into too small of a space. Also, there was an abundance of locked closets and cabinets for owners - many more than the other units we’ve enjoyed over the years and signs in cabinets asking us NOT to use certain dishes and equipment (lock it up if you don’t want things used). Usually the kitchens have some basics - a few basic spices, mustard, ketchup, maybe olive oil - this had salt and pepper. My biggest surprise was the amount of space taken up with tchotchkes - built-in cabinets, free standing furniture display cases, multiple table centerpieces - and limited seating in the living area. I am sure it is fine for the owners and their family, but we won’t use it again when we are down there. ##### Don W. It is the last condo on the beach so not crowded. It is gated and well secured. We have stayed in this condo 3 times though it was our first time in this unit and it didn’t disappoint! I love that we don’t have to bring boogie boards, beach chairs,sand toys, or beach towels as they are all provided. The bathrooms are well stocked with plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The kitchen has everything you need. All of this makes packing and leaving home a breeze. The beds are very comfortable and there is a tv in each of the bedrooms. The beach is very close and easy to access. The condo has a place to wash off the sand and two pools. The washer and dryer are excellent. I was impressed there was even a first aid kit in the closet. Pretty good location and short walking distance to the beach. Building was fairly quiet during our stay and building was pretty clean. The location is good with easy beach access. Fast internet and the condo was clean with plenty of room. I would rent again. Beach access was super convenient. The beach was not crowded at all, super family friendly, and quiet. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Here's the review about this property: 1\. Very Clean and upscale property 2\. Can see the beach from the balcony - big plus, even hear the roaring of the sea at night. 3\. Lots of light - not dark and gloomy 4\. Next to the private beach - this is a huge plus. Get down from the elevator. Walk 1min, you are on the beach. And this part of the beach is much less crowded. 5\. Everything pretty much stocked in the kitchen - we carried lots of food and cooking items with us. So we didn't need anything (except few tea bags and keruig coffee cups). Cooking-ware, cups.bowls, plates, utensils etc - everything there. 5\. Gated property - so less traffic and safe. I usually don't like alcohol drinking beach crowd who makes the beach noisy and nasty. However, most the folks in this property and in the private beach area were family guys. 6\. First I thought I was spending a little more than the budget (including the insurance $200 I bought in case anyone in our team gets Covid before the trip and we postpone/cancel the trip) - however it's worth the money and 6+ hrs drive from Austin. You will like this place. 7\. This place has a personal touch of the owners - my wife noticed that the owners are ornithophiles (bird lovers). 8\. We ate (take outs) Fish and chips at Seaside bar and grille - also had dinner at Painted Marlin (highly recommend) after sunset. These places are pretty close just few mins drive. 9\. The Original Dolphin watch is also 3-4mins drive, you can even walk there. We plan to visit again in Fall or Winter. Thanks to Mark and Becky for providing clean place and good service.
