There are some things that need updating due to wear and tear, hard water and salt in air. The pool lounge chairs also need to be replaced. There was an internet outage, and our AT&T service was not available for most of our stay. Had to use verizon hotspot for internet access. The owner was very responsive, which I appreciated. Our family enjoyed the beach, the closeness of the property to the beach and of course the private pool, where my young daughter learned how to do her first cannonball! On the same vine, wifi could be better 3\. Replace blankets with done with no holes, some can be found at Costco for good prices 4\. Just get rid of the fold up chairs, they were older and had some stains 5\. We weren't paying ultra-luxury prices, so went into it with the appropriate level of expectations. That being said, it suited our needs just fine, and was plenty nice. We were going to SPI to spend time on the beach, not in the house. Anyone with the same expectations will be satisfied as well. There were 4 of us and our dog and the size was fine for us. Any more than that and it may feel a bit cramped if everyone is hanging out in the same area. My wife commented on the cleanliness of the property upon arrival. And my wife is a stickler for cleanliness, doesn't freely give out compliments unless truly impressed. So kudos to their cleaning crew. We had one little hiccup upon check-in, but property owner got it taken care of very quickly. He was very responsive. Location was nice. On a quieter street, about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The location was great--so close to the beach and the private pool was heavenly. The unit was very clean and the kitchen well-equipped for us to do our own breakfast cooking (although I would suggest they replace the large non-stick skillet). The only downside was the uncomfortable mattress on the daybed. As someone who has ran my own short-term rental, I'd suggest they replace that daybed with a twin over double bunkbed. ##### Nancy H.
