Rooms were clean. The pool is packed all day. The only Negative thing I can say is the walls are thin and you hear everything. Don't get a room by the pool its loud til 11pm.

Property has a quick walk to beachside! Staff is very nice and accomodating. We've been here several times, the rooms are always clean, its quiet at night, safe and less crowded beach area!

Our first night here was wonderful. The second night, which was a Friday, was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you’re in town to party. The pool was obnoxiously loud and there are noise ordinances posted everywhere, my wife called to complain and the staff several times said they couldn’t do anything until the pool closing time, 11pm. That’s incorrect. You have an ordinance. You can politely ask them to be quiet and evict them with police and security as stated on the ordinance. At 3 in the morning there was a group of men outside breaking glass bottles in the walkway. No police or security was involved, they had the maintenance man ask them to leave. Personally it’s cheap and if you’re a single guy or gal it’s a good deal, if you have a family I’d go elsewhere.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. The month of March alone our Island is filled with Spring Breakers. I would and will always suggest to any and all guest that if you are looking for a quiet night's sleep on SPI, TX March is not the time to come.

Friendly attentive staff especially a guy at the dining area if I remember right his name is Luis, his sense of humor made our morning. The way he greeted us made Us feel welcome, they need more people like him.

The place is ok. You get what you pay for. Only super downside was the fact that they only clean the room twice a week. So when they came my kids were still finishing brushing their teeth. I asked the lady if she could come back in 5 minutes and she said no. She was literally two doors down when we left! The only upside of the hotel was the restaurant. It had good food for lunch. And the extremely kind guy at the breakfast. Wish I remember his name.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Since we have started our Wyndham Green Initiative we no longer give complete service to any stay overs. We have implemented a daily towel exchange along with any hotel items (soap, shampoo, bathroom paper) 1st Floor room services are offered on Monday & Wednesday. 2nd Floor is Tuesday and Thursdays.

Hello, we require an active Debit/Credit card on file to guarantee your reservation. We do have a 24 HR Cancellation Policy in place. We tried to contact you to update your billing info. If we cannot get a hold of you the reservation will then be canceled.

The man at counter (Jorge) was very loud and rude. Although he paused a long time before he told us his name. He forced all of us to pay an additional $10 per person for a mandatory, "red bracelet" he stated was required for all who are staying at the RAMADA. He shared we had to wear the bracelets while on the premises otherwise we'd be forced to leave. We could not have breakfast or use the pool if we didn't have the "red bracelet" He also threatened that a police/security would interrogate anyone who wasn't wearing one. 🙄 * Dirty sheets with holes, ugly stained pillows, stains on the pull out bed. There was also a box of Decon Roach treatment on top of the refrigerator where there was also moldy plants.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. During Spring Break we do have a wristband fee for all guest staying. We also take in a Damage Deposit and have Rules and Regulations in place. We will mention the rest to our Maintenance and Housekeeping staff.,

I came for Spring Break and the stay was superb! The price was good, the room was clean but the Staff’s customer service is what made the overall experience that much better! Will most definitely return next year!

I rarely write reviews however this was an especially disappointing experience. I've stayed at various Ramadas in the past. It's always been a decent hotel comparatively. In fact, the Ramada in Waikiki is my preferred hotel when I'm on that island. This South Padre Island Ramada looked well enough on the outside however our room was dirty & smelled bad. The floor was sticky & didn't seem like it was well swept. There were stains on the wall. The fridge rocked when you opened it. The upstairs occupants were noisy & smoking weed which I understand is not the hotel's fault however when I asked the front desk to switch rooms he was blasé and stated that the occupants were on the island to have fun. This seemed to insinuate that I needed to understand. We did get a new room which was slightly better in cleanliness and noise but overall this hotel is very rundown & dated. It seemed there might even be long-term occupants living on one side. Overall I would not stay at this Ramada again.

Old, run down facility. Slap a coat of paint and lipstick on a pig, and call it a hotel. Our bed was so bad, we figured it was the one they picked up on the side of the freeway. Toilet was cracked. Dead bugs in the sink and bathtub. Continental breakfast was stale and horrible, the coffee was muddy water from 2 days ago, which they ran out at 7 a.m. On second day of stay, plumbing backed up and staff was clueless on helping. We left skid marks getting out of there....checked out a day early to find somewhere else to stay. We still love the island though.

Concerned for safety. Door opened wee hours in the morning. Security sliding lock prevented gaining entry. Very poor housekeeping service. Stayed 7 nights never cleaned room or change towels. Very slippery tub. Had to ask for a tub mat. No ice bucket. Had to go to the front desk to get a small cup of ice.

Room cleanliness was ok, enjoyed sitting in front of rooms in our lawn chairs, had good space to parked area. Lots of people sitting out. Pool area had throw up under table and wasn't clean looking at all. Wouldn't of got in pool or hot tub. Staff friendly, loved the singing waffle making guy at breakfast!

Very affordable for the room we received. Very friendly staff. Wish had flyers in room with hotel amenities listed. Housekeeping never checked on us once to see if we needed something. Need bigger garbage can in room.

I booked for 3 nights and then extended for another 2 nights in the apartment suite..There were cockroaches everywhere..There were empty pizza boxes in all the unoccupied and opened rooms..Felt very unsafe, as the polices were called and a person was picked up from the hotel.. The older man at the front desk was terrible, he was unprofessional when we told him of the cockroaches and broken glass around the stairs, he threatened to call the police. Would not recommend this place..
