This newly renovated private home was completed in 2019 and it has all the toys for a perfect vacation! Our private home features 9 bedrooms/5 bathrooms! This one of a kind amusement park-style beach house can accommodate multiple families with sleeping up to 34 people! Some of the great amenities include a Basketball Court with mobile Pickleball Net, Putting Green, Private Heated Pool, and Soccer Area! All bedrooms have Tv's! 11 Flat Screen TV's total! Our beautiful property is located only a few steps to the beach. The house is perfectly situated across from the beach between handicap beach access #3 and #4\. The location on the island couldn't be better with its proximity to restaurants, the South Padre Island entertainment district, retail shopping, and is close to the grocery store. Our home is ideal for a family retreat, family reunion, wedding venue, birthday party, quinceañera, team activities, sports training camp, or just stay here to immerse yourself in an island getaway filled with relaxation. This house is blended with modern and vintage touches. The house is sitting on a huge lot, 13,100 square feet (0.30 acre). Being a PET-FRIENDLY property, there is plenty of space to play with your pets!!! It is the biggest corner lot for a vacation rental house in South Padre Island with a huge backyard! This house offers a lot of privacy because it is located on the corner of Gulf Blvd and East Corral Street. The 2nd floor is newly built and offers ocean views! Features one of a kind artificial turf sports court for fun activities like soccer, volleyball, & football all with a rebounding net that stops the ball even when you miss the goal! Every bedroom has its own cable TV. There are a total of 11 Flat Screen TVs in this home! Free WIFI! We had plenty of bedrooms. We could have used a bigger, more updated washer & dryer or maybe two.It took over three hours to do one load of laundry. It poured rain for 2 and a half days and it made it impossible to sit outside since the covering over patio leaked. The paint from the basketball court washed off and paint was in our clothes, towels, shoes, etc. It was so slippery when wet. The kids were constantly falling. Maybe a textured, waterproof cement paint would be better? We loved how SPI rentals would answer any of our questions immediately and would send help for hottub and pool when we couldn't figure it out. Great service and such nice people! The house is within walking distance of beach, shopping, coffee, icecream, great restaurants and bars with music. Sunrise in the morning was beautiful from upper deck! Séjour de 4 nuits en novembre 2022 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Erica G. 7 août 2022 Points faibles : Propreté #### Very Disappointed The day we were to check-in, SPI rental called me and said there was a plumbing issue and we couldn't stay at the property. There were already 27 of us on our way to the property at that time - some of us had flown in from out of state. For the next 2 hours, while driving to South Padre, we scrambled to try and find a place to stay. SPI rental helped by finding us 3 separate houses to stay in, but only for 3 of the 6 nights we were supposed to be there. Finally, before arriving in South Padre, we got a call that the property was fixed. Upon arrival, it was not ready until 5p. It smelled like sewage. The backyard was filthy. There was food and drinks and trash left on the upstairs balcony, I assume from the previous guests. The showers had moldy shower curtains and hair all over the walls. Because our party was so big (29), we weren't able to find a different place, so we had no choice but to stay there. We made the most of it but it was awful. The communication was awful, the house was dirty, and the photos were deceiving. It's really too bad. ##### Erica G. Large amount of kitchen supplies for cooking. Plenty for all ages to do and walking distance to the beach. It was very windy while we were there so lots of garbage around. Enough basic need supplies to get there and not have to worry about running to the store which is nice. Overall a great place and would recommend. ##### Stephanie N. The pool and hot tub worked out great for us. We couldn’t get the kids to go to the beach they loved the house so much. We had a problem with the pool not working (pool was largely why we booked the property). The management company were not very responsive, there was poor communication and it took 4 days to get it fixed. We turned the heating on one day as it was cold and a burning plastic smell set off the fire alarms. Two of the beds had poor quality frames and were propped up with pieces of 2x4 to support them which weren’t effective (how difficult to buy a sturdy but low cost frame?). There was google mesh Wi-Fi in all rooms but we weren’t given the password to that (reserved for owners?) and just had a password to the main Wi-Fi router which didn’t stretch throughout the house (we reverted to hotspots). Likewise the rokus in the individual rooms didn’t connect to the router because the router was using an old encryption form of WEP that is not supported by Roku anymore. There were many good things about the house, but these issues with some of the basics were sufficient that we wouldn’t book it again. Note that after the issue with the pool and the management company and pain going back and forth, we didn’t report all these issues to the management company and just put up with them - so to be fair, they never had the chance to attempt to resolve them - we just didn’t want to spend our vacation going back and forth with thr management company on everything. ##### Joe S. We had a moms and sons graduation trip to SPI, and this property was absolutely amazing! Plenty of beds and bedrooms, a large stocked kitchen, fun pool table, PERFECT back yard with basketball court that was used almost 24/7, pool and spa, and turf where our boys worked out each morning. It was a very short 2 minute walk to the beach. We were able to wash beach towels while we were there with the washer and dryer in the house. Perfect vacation rental!!! ##### Kelley A. The pool table, basketball goal, pool, and hot tub got used regularly. Our only real complaint was the amount of animal hair on the floors. We did a lot of cooking for our group of 18\. The kitchen worked quite well and the Blue Marlin grocery store is close by for groceries. A few items not stocked in the kitchen were hand mixer, griddle, and gallon pitcher. We also used the gas grill several times. It's secured to the fence in a place with poor lighting for after dark grilling, so bring a flashlight or eat before dark! Only a short walk to the beach or souvenir shop. We had a fantastic time! Thanks for providing a great place! ##### Kimberly G. Only drawback - kitchen! It is inadequate if you plan to cook for more than 5-6 people. Oven cooks unevenly and temperature fluctuates. We left temperature on refrigerator as set when we arrived and food froze in the refrigerator. Thank goodness for second refrigerator. Still week was very enjoyable and memorable. ##### Walter B.
