(Formerly Schlitterbahn Water Park) The Sea Vista complex offers 2 swimming pools and hot tubs, 2 tennis courts, free secure on-site parking and direct private access to the beach, just steps from your door. Our condo is located on the 5th. floor with inside elevator access and provides lots of privacy and quiet…beyond you there is nothing but dunes, sand and sea. The living/dining area as well as the master suite have wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows with the most amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico. Imagine waking up each morning after a restful night of sleep to a magnificent unobstructed Texas sunrise…it just doesn’t get any better than that!!! This same view can be enjoyed from the kitchen while preparing that gourmet meal. And/or relaxing on the spacious balcony while sipping your favorite beverage, feeling the gentle gulf breezes while watching the ships come and go or the occasional pod of dolphins play in the surf. The beachfront master suite has a king size bed with two dressers, a sitting area and a large flat screen TV. The en-suite has a walk-in tiled shower and a granite countertop vanity. The second bedroom has two queen size beds, a dresser, a large closet and a flat screen TV. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, a dresser, a large flat screen TV and a desk for those having to work while on vacation. These two guest bedrooms share the second bathroom which has a tiled walk-in shower and granite countertop. The bedrooms and bathrooms are outfitted with luxury linens and towels. We also provide a Pack-N-Play for your little one. Paper products and soaps are provided to get you started, even shampoo and conditioner. The fully equipped kitchen has a water filter system, as well as a range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with icemaker. It is stocked with high quality dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, herbs and spices as well as several other small kitchen appliances including a crock pot, hand mixer, blender, toaster and both a drip style coffee maker as well as a Keurig coffee maker. There is comfortable seating for 6 at the dining table plus additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. Paper towels and trash bags are supplied to get you started. To add to your vacation pleasure, there are 4 large flat screen TVs with Spectrum cable and free password protected WiFi. The condo is fully air conditioned and has 4 ceiling fans…1 in each bedroom plus the living area. A full size washer and dryer are conveniently located inside the condo. A starter supply of laundry products is provided. For your beach time enjoyment, we provide beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a couple of boogie boards and some sand toys to build that amazing sand castle. As a guest of Sea Vista you may purchase discounted Beach Park at Isla Blanca (Schlitterbahn) tickets available only through the Sea Vista office during the summer. There are many good locally restaurants and bars located nearby, many within walking distance. It’s the last condo on the island so not crowded at the beach. Bc the condo restricts to 8 per unit, it is very family friendly. 2 pools on site are never crowded. Shorter walk to the beach than at several other condos on the island, has wash stations to rinse off beach items before re entering condo. Ac works great! Kitchen is well stocked. Owners are very responsive. There are plenty of towels and several beach chairs, beach toys, and boogie boards in the unit. The beds are very comfortable and tvs in all the bedrooms. Very clean. Close location to dispose of trash. This was at least my 3rd time in this unit and 4th time at sea vista. I hope to return next July. ##### Autumn S. The pool was clean too! The grill is charcoal and you need to bring your own charcoal. There are no grill tools, just a heads up if you are planning to grill a meal! The view of the sunrises was outstanding. Tons of natural light was a boost for your mood. Minor annoyances. The two back bedrooms have a frosted window to interior halls. One was with a very light shade that could not keep out the very.bright light from an interior hall. That same bedroom had very thin bamboo/polyester sheets that were not comfortable. Overall the unit was clean except for some cookie crumbs left on the kitchen counter, and a couple of throw rugs that still contained a good amount of sand. Details on a pricey unit are important. The only, and I mean the only reason this stay did not get my 5 stars overall was the flooded walkway to the beach. Knee deep putrid water, mosquitos, and inaccessibly for children and elder parents made it impossible for fun on the beach. There was plenty of space for our family to come together for meals and hangout time, but also provided secluded spaces when solitude was desired. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils needed to prepare delicious home cooked meals. However, if exploring the local cuisine was preferred, the property was close to all the island had to offer. Some of the beach items offered for use needed attention, specifically, the beach umbrella that was on hand was broken when we went to use it, but other than that, everything a family might want to enjoy their time at the beach was readily available. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was definitely a plus. When we informed the management that we needed an iron to prepare our clothes for a wedding, Ms. Weiss promptly responded and provided what we needed. The pool and hot tub on property were always clean, and we enjoyed spending time playing and connecting with other families there. Workout equipment on property would have been ideal. The staff at the property, especially David, were outgoing, friendly, and helpful. We can all say that our stay exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning sometime in the not so distant future:) ##### Alida W. The condo was exactly as pictured with the view being the show stopper. We didn’t know we’d be there for the space x launch so what an incredible surprise. Also fighter jets flying by one day and we watched a wedding on the beach, all from the balcony. We liked that it wasn’t a crowded beach area and that it’s a gated community.
