Large families may consider both properties that can accommodate up to 30 guests (maximum of 14 guests at Destination Constellation and 16 guests at Southern Destination). The properties are only one house apart from each other. Destination Constellation is a private home on the resort on South Padre Island. that has been transformed into a relaxing vacation rental, including a new pool and Jacuzzi hot tub, recently remodeled tile floors, granite top kitchen, marble top bathrooms, tile showers, and all new appliances. South Padre Island is a beach destination located at the tip of the Texas coast, just north of Brownsville, Texas and is bordered on the east side by the Gulf of Mexico and on the west side by the Laguna Madre. The island is only accessible by causeway or boat. Destination Constellation is just a couple-minute walk, about 150 yds. down Constellation to Aquarius Circle Beach Access #18\. At Aquarius Circle beach entrance, island visitors will find easy access to the Gulf of Mexico via a newly constructed boardwalk with outdoor shower for easy clean-up after a relaxing day on the beach. Waiting back at your private vacation home is Spectrum cable, and high-speed internet available throughout the house (a total of six flat screen TVs). The two master bedrooms can accommodate two guests each with a King size bed One more bedrooms can accommodate two guests each on a Queen size bed. The fourth bedroom has two sets of custom designed bunk beds that will please small kids and big (adult) kids alike. Appealing to young kids but built to accommodate any adult. Two queen size sleeper sofa in this large open living room can accommodate two guests each. These are the best sofa sleepers that you will ever find to sleep upon. Each fitted with a normal thickness coil spring sofa mattress but what makes these different, the mattress has an adjustable air bed on top. All fourteen guests will have easy access to covered patio and pool area in a beautifully landscaped backyard. You may bring your personal beach towels for the pool and beach but we have extra if needed. Bath towels provided by Destination Constellation cannot be used at the beach. A fenced in backyard provides privacy for your family as they relax by the pool and hot tub. There is a 1/2 bath next to pool. Destination Constellation provides all bed linens and bath towels. Beds are adorned with colorful comforters, quilts, and blankets. The kitchen is complete with granite counters as well as all of the appliances, equipment, and cooking amenities/utensils needed to prepare that special island meal for your family and friends. Not interested in cooking? There are several restaurants in close proximity to your vacation home available for your family and friends to enjoy a relaxed evening on the island. Destination Constellation is a non-smoking facility. We will consider allowing up to two pets with prior approval. An additional cleaning fee does apply. Two driveways provide enough space in the front of the house to accommodate five cars. South Padre has so many wonderful activities for your family to participate in while you are on the island. Golf cart rental place just steps away for your enjoyment. Just across Padre Island Boulevard is the U.S. Post Office and several restaurants and bars are within walking distance from Destination Constellation. South Padre Island enjoys a unbelievable variety of amusement amenities, including fishing, swimming, wind surfing, beach buggy rides, horseback riding, party cruises and a huge variety of water sports along the most beautiful gulf coast of South Texas. Your guests and family will also enjoy visiting well-know attractions such as The Birding Center, Turtle Rescue Center, Horseback Riding and Petting Center, and Museums. Shopping, restaurants with a variety of cuisines, and beach front clubs and bars are located throughout the island on our three major boulevards: Padre Island Blvd., Gulf Blvd., and Laguna Blvd. Another popular attraction is an eight-mile ride North to the end of the of Hwy 100\. Location was very walkable to the beach, and having access to a wagon to carry our beach supplies was helpful. Backyard pool and tv was a great addition. Some of the backyard furnishings should be replaced - the lounge chairs are old and unusable. The door locks were a little dated , you have to shimmy the knobs a bit but overall a great property. ##### Kara M. For MI residence, the optimally working AC was appreciated. TLC needed in gardening, removal of weeds around pool, trimming of bushes; power washing of bar area (some moldy spots), power washing of outdoor seat cushions, dirt visible on most of the seat cuhions; an.updated photo of recreational equipment is needed snce there were no coolers, only one umbrella and the coolcabana an embarrassment to assemble on the beach as it was broken and not able to adequately shield but one person from intense sun. The refrigerator door in kitchen needs an adjustment, doesn't seal completely and required all of us to be conscientious to make sure it was closed. Otherwise the kitchen was fully stocked of all essentials. The beds were extremely comfortable; and the only other issue was on Day 4 we woke up to a very strong "rotten egg" smell but our call to management was answered and they serviced the drains with chlorine. The smell came back the next morning, but by Day 3 of chlorine application, it was completely dissipated. We would go back, with the hope the TLC items are completed. ##### Veronica P. The highlight of the property for us was the downstairs entertainment set up and pool area. Many hours were spent at the outdoor bar and poolside. Well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves within comfortable walking distance of the beach. As a heads up, the only way to access the pool and backyard area is through a gate outside the front steps (i.e. there is no access or stairs from the back of the house) -- just highlighting because we have a dog that needs to be leashed, and we couldn't just let him out in the backyard (you have to go through the front door and then through a gate) -- this wasn't a major inconvenience, just highlighting as a consideration for any other potential guests with dogs. ##### Brad G. I will have to say we have stayed in several VRBO's in the past and we have been lucky, I have never had to leave a bad review until now. This house was in a great location, however not at all what we expected. It needs a major DEEP CLEAN!! From the time we walked in, the house felt very dirty. The towels and bedding all smelled, we washed every thing when we got their, the sheets on the top bunk had a nasty stain on it. The bath towels all need to be replaced. There is dust everywhere. There is black mold / mildew on the celling in the bathrooms. The kitchen sick facet is broken, there is mildew and mold in the showers as well. Shower bar is broken it was laying in the shower floor when we got there. The outdoor furniture is extremely worn, the living room furniture is dirty and needs to be cleaned. The manager and owners were great at communicating, however for amount of money we paid for this house, we were really disappointed. I would highly suggest to bring your own beach chairs and wagons. The stuff that has been left is pretty worn out and broken. This did not feel like a vacation home that we could relax in. ##### James H. Pool and bar area were very spacious and nice. Hosts were very communicable from the very beginning. The beach is half a block down the street with a wooden deck entrance.
