The house has everything you need and makes a great base, the pool is amazing and the outside space allows for outdoor activities, even table tennis. We really enjoyed our break."

We have stayed in Sainte Maxine a number of times, and although the location doesnt have a view like other properties we have rented, it is quiet yet close to the town and beach, but be prepared for a steep walk back. "The location was perfect. It was less than a 5 min walk into town, where you could find plenty of shopping and restaurants. If you wanted to go to Saint Tropez, it was a short walk to the shuttle boat that ran frequently. We spent a lot of our time at the house as the view and lounging by the pool really couldn’t be beat. "Jean Marie and his wife were wonderful sharing their home to us. It was nice to be a be come back to a quiet retreat after a day of sightseeing. The amenities were also good offering coffee, spices and misc items. You do need a car although you can walk to a close by town. Enjoy this gem"

"A beautiful home with wonderful views over Cassis. We were a large family group of mixed ages, the youngest was 11 years old. For families with younger children the uphill walk from the village would be more of a challenge but taxis were relatively easy to access. The walk to and from the village took around 20-30 mins. "We had a very nice stay with our adult children in Giens. Nicole is very nice, but she speaks no other language but French. The house is really beautiful, but needs a ‘little’ update. The toilets don’t flush very well and the shower has bad drainage. There were only two sun beds at the swimming pool for a house of 8 people. There were other chairs but not really comfortable. "A very special villa, with many different places to relax in throughout the day and evening. Terraces, rooms and of course the pool and poolside area. Beautiful restful home to return to after a busy day out in the lovely towns and cities relatively nearby. A car is essential (a small one perhaps as narrow roads aren't so straight forward to navigate). Local people in shops and restaurants incredibly warm and friendly. A very special place to holiday."
