This is our dream home, we would love to share it with you. Location is everything. This house is on a quiet street, backs to endless forest (that you can ski to and from Heavenly through), has glorious mountain and lake views but is only five minutes away from Stateline and all Tahoe's amenities and attractions. You enter the house into the great room. High cathedral ceilings and a wall of windows surround the living, dining and kitchen areas. Take in the lake and mountain views from everywhere. The kitchen features a stainless steel island, Viking appliances and is fully stocked, ready to prepare a feast. The dining table seats 8+. The living area extends to the huge deck. With seating, a BBQ, hot tub and those views again, it is the place to be. The master suite is located above the great room. An ample closet, a king bed, dual sink and walk in shower bathroom and TV make it a great retreat. It also has a private deck looking back to the wooded mountain. There are two bedrooms on the main floor each with a private bathroom. One has a King bed, the other two queen beds. It’s about a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the gondola. Overall the place worked great. We had 9 guys and it slept all of us alright - 6 guys doubling up in queens, 2 of us in a king, and one on a cot. I think there was one more cot in a closet somewhere. I think the listing says it can sleep 12 but that would be really tight and probably have two people on couches. 8-9 is probably a better number. Kitchen and dining area is really nice and well equipped. Deck area and hot tub were really nice and the view is amazing. Parking right in the driveway is easy. A little pricey but overall this place was a lot of fun and we’re happy with our stay. ##### Jordan V. This is an older house that has been renovated nicely, however the furniture has not been upgraded. The furniture is worn, the beds are squeaky and uncomfortable. Some of the deck furniture is actually broken. Also worth noting and that the owner/manager was not at all flexible about deferring our reservation. We were concerned about the smoke from the fires and wanted to delay our visit, but he said no. Rather than losing money we decided to take a chance. You can see the Lake and Heavenly right out the front window. Very quiet. To be noted it's on a very steep hill so I wouldn't let your kids outside to play/sled. There's a park very close by. We were a little disappointed with the hot tub, it didn't get hot the first night until after 10pm which is when you can't use it. We were supposed to be there only two nights so that was frustrating. It was one of the main reasons we loved the place. Also the kitchen is gorgeous, however is not that well stocked. There aren't any spices, which is fine, but there also isn't a ton of cookware if you're big into cooking. Organized, but very basic. Good food nearby. ##### jamie n. This modern, super clean home was everything me, my friends, and our husbands could have asked for! There was plenty of room for 3 couples, amenities galore (including all Viking appliances in the kitchen and a washer and dryer), and a view of the lake that was beyond amazing. Our trip was like a dream, thanks in no small part to this house. The owner was very responsive when I had a couple of questions and there was virtually nothing we needed that wasn't already there, including soap, shampoo, plenty of wine glasses, dishes, and every cooking gadget you can think of (including cookbooks!). The hot tub was sparkling clean. I would rent it again in a minute, and we hope to go back to South Lake Tahoe in the summer again sometime soon! ##### Julie U. The house was nice but hot. There were only small windows on the side of the house that opened. The front of the house which had a beautiful view was all glass and only the sliding glass door opened for ventilation. Complicating the matter the neighbors and home owner want it very quiet. There are many signs up to keep the noise down and close the windows. Thus turning the place into a hot house. No one slept very well due to the heat. Aug 24, 2017 #### Beautiful Location, but not well maintained Really enjoyed the view of Lake Tahoe from the deck, but had a few hiccups with the property. Several lights were out, mainly the one inside the front door. The TV remotes were not in the right rooms, some were missing batteries, one was found under a guest bed. That made it difficult to enjoy the downtime. The refrigerator needs a recharge, as it didn't get cold despite being set on coldest. The downstairs shower never really got hot, either. The cleaning crew did an okay job, but left a bag of garbage in the home. Overall, it just didn't seem well-maintained... as a landlord myself, I would have had someone inspect these items, as it's not a single item, but several. ##### Celina G.
