The property is accessed via a flight of exterior stairs at the entryway. In Winter, be prepared to encounter snow and ice. Drive, dress, and move carefully. Lots of room for dogs and kids to run! Overall we loved this property and it suited us perfectly. I would not recommend Vacasa, the property management company. They use their own messaging platform (I chose not to use this as we booked through Vrbo). When messaging, it was obvious a different person responded each time due to conflicting responses, and me needing to provide information and questions I’d already shared before. Delayed responses early on, but they The pricing in the booking said by selecting “yes” to pets that 1 pet fee was included in the price of the booking and we’d need to pay additional ones separately. ##### Arianna M. We had 2 toddlers and was looking forward to the play structure but I couldn’t trust it as it seemed very outdated and dangerous besides the swings. The house was a bit dusty and the 1st floor bath tub was lopsided on one side, where you have to stand a certain way so you don’t fall. The bunk beds seemed very dated, you can see the rips of top bunk when lying down on bottom bunk. Living room TV was super slow and wifi was horrible Positive: there were a lot of board games and children’s toys, which our toddlers enjoyed. The kitchen appliances were great. The backyard space is fantastic. There is a lot of room to play around. Are only problem was that the hot tub was not working when we arrived, and they were unable to fix it while we were there. Communication throughout this wasn't as good as I would have liked. Neighborhood was great for running in the morning. close to holiday market to grab groceries. Not a far drive from downtown south Tahoe. Jul 29, 2022 #### Awesome oasis This house was gorgeous and so fun! The beds were super comfortable, house very clean and nice. So much to do in the yard, toys and high chairs and pack n plays for several kids. We ready enjoyed it! Only downside was some if the fencing is metal with large holes in it and the neighbors have dogs that try to come over (and at one point did make it through into our yard because of a broken piece of fencing) and bark and try to fence fight, so we couldn’t let our dogs out there off leash. Mar 28, 2022 #### Nice home, but hot tub was broken. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented this place for our family of 5\. Upon arrival, I did a quick walk through and noted that the place was nice and clean. Later on, I walked out side with the kids to the awesome sized and fun back yard (this makes up for some of the issues), and the kids went right for the zip line, there was still snow in places and what we though was strange ice. Then I noticed the bar height table top was missing from the table on the deck and that was what we thought was the strange ice. The top had apparently had fallen off or got knocked over (the table was still upright, so that was confusing), and shattered all over the deck and beyond. I texted to report it right away. They sent someone out, who was surprised it was as bad as it was (how much and where). He swept the deck clear and made a barrier with chairs where the rest was on the ground. We both had no idea it was tempered glass until the next day when they sent another crew to clean it all up. That first night though, we went to use the hot tub. It displayed an error message and said it was 77 degrees. My husband got it to start, however by the time it was too late to use it, it was only up to 82 degrees. We hoped it would be hot in the morning. NOPE, same error message and only in the 80's still. Reported this as well. The folks that were there that next morning to clean up the rest of the glass said he let the hot tub vendor know, but made it sound like this hot tub was slated to be replaced as its been having issues. I reported this to the company since hot tub is advertised in the title for this listing. They wrote me back that "It has been a working amenity to this point," So I went back to the reviews online and noted that is incorrect. You will see folks complaining about the hot tub since January, I wish I would have kept up with the reviews as one says to make sure the hot tub is working. They said they'd send someone Friday, but no one came. We checked out Saturday.Spacious comfortable house otherwise. ##### Nada N.
