Great to have a friend in backyard for the dogs to play. Hot tub was wonderful. Great communication with the owners, particularly when we had an issue with one of the heaters. The space itself is pretty dated, but has some modern updates with a nice kitchen. The location is great! The house was very clean. We did have someone who said they worked for the property stop by unannounced to look at a camera. That was a little weird since I was in the hot tub. Only 2 miles from town but felt hours away. Extremely quiet and peaceful with lots of outdoor space. The large completely fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We greatly enjoyed relaxing on the very comfortable reclining leather sofa and the wood burning stove while enjoying the view. Going in the hot tub while it was snowing was fantastic. We hiked and went tubing in the nearby creek and drove to other nearby amenities. At night we enjoyed the hot tub and gathering in the comfortable living space. Our athletic young dog enjoyed the gated dog run below the deck when we were enjoying the table on the deck or the great hot tub. 10 min walk to access the "Upper Truck" and beautiful meadow with trails. The non teens, especially the 4 legged one loved this! Hosts were very responsive throughout the process here via this website / email combo and I even got a text 1 hour before we were to check in. My wife and I have been planning to visit Lake Tahoe for a few years and we finally were able to make the trip! Luckily for us we found the most amazing listing to stay for our vacation. The property is extremely cozy, with an amazing fireplace, hot tub (that works wonderfully) and enough room for all your family or friends. We brought our dogs with us and they had plenty of room to run around in the gated yard and play in the snow. They have a washer/dryer and a full kitchen with everything you need. I really do recommend you give this place a try! The property manager responded to our questions right away and we were never left confused or without help. The property is also a very short 7-10 minute drive from basically everything in the area, like the market, the lake or the ski resort.100 out of 5 stars if I could. ##### Joseph M. Quiet neighborhood and easy drive to back country hiking. I lived in Tahoe for years and like avoiding the crowds. There are trails at the end of the street, plenty of space to play in the backyard (we used it to teach our toddler how to ski), and a great open space layout in the cabin.
