Unwind in the bonus space with an armchair, sleeper sofa, and sofa. KITCHEN & DINING The well-equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, a four-person breakfast bar, a pantry, and a butcher block island. Gather for meals at the six-person dining table. Disappointed with the scratchy TP; none of the outlets in any of the three bathrooms worked; warped flooring by back sliding door and screen door wasn’t secured on their rails; foosball table is falling apart so we didn’t use. The place was spacious and clean with enough real beds for everyone to sleep in. Also there were plenty of towels and everything need to cook in the kitchen. We did have trouble getting any working channels on TV upstairs in the main kitchen area and by the time someone replied to our complaint, we had already made other plans. Not a big deal but would have been nice to have a TV with working channels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a good place and location to stay in. ##### Ki H. O., Hamburg, Germany 24 juill. 2022 Points faibles : Propreté #### Solid Home in a nice area with some pesky issues The house is spacious and has everything which is described in the ad. The location is good, the neighborhood is quite and within a 10 minute ride you will be in South Lake Tahoe downtown. The Kitchen has a good fridge, some good pots and also 2 or 3 usable knives. But you should know, that there are absolutely no pantry items provided, not even salt or sugar. There are also no foils or ziplocs or whatever, so you should bring your own. Most annoyingly for us was the absence of kitchen towels. There is Dishwasher detergent for one cleaning per day. The BBQ hasn’t been cleaned in aeons, it was so dirty that I almost threw up. Around the BBQ lay half a dozend dead roaches but I am not complaining about the roaches, I am aware that they are part of our ecosystem, I am complaining about the gross BBQ which of course attracts cockroaches to come into the house. I told vacasa about this problem and they said, that they will send someone to clean the BBQ but no-one came. The cleanliness inside of the house was good though. Some of the beds where squeaky , and the mattress in the MBR was pretty much worn out. From the windows in the house you can watch the wildlife in the woods, which is great. ##### H. O. Far enough away so that it's more private, but close enough to activities. We thought that it could have been cleaner (ie white bath rugs. white doors), fresh smelling bedding. We wanted to hike in the forest behind the house which was a top selling point, but we had a visit from a bear and decided not to take a chance. Overall, we would rent it again. ##### Rhonda B. This property is an ideal place to stay when visiting South Lake Tahoe. We really hope to come back here again as soon as possible and I can’t recommend it enough! However if I had to be a critic for a few things here and there I would say that there were a few problems with the following: 1\. The upstairs toilet did not work properly and was unusable the entire stay. 2\. The Wi-Fi would not work even after multiple router reboots. 3\. The Cable TV strangely has a very limited number of actual channels available, seemed unusual. 4\. Many rental properties provide K-cups for their Keurig coffee machines, would’ve been nice to have a few coffees stocked at the cabin for in the mornings. All in all the cabin is a fantastic place and we look forward to returning! And the Turnkey liaison we dealt with for the toilet issue was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. Foosball table was rickety and one corner was broken. The Spectrum cable and WIFI were not functioning upon our arrival. We had to spend half a day of our vacation with the Spectrum tech's who were cable to get the cable working but not the WIFI as the home owner's routers were old and would not connect to the network. The Spectrum tech was nice enough to loan us a router for the weekend so our college student could take their final exam! There are lots of games to play, and two large living rooms for watching movies. Close to town but secluded, with easy access to Heavenly and Kirkwood. We will definitely come back. ##### Daniel G. So peaceful and a short drive to good take-out as well as so much to do in the area. Very comfortable beds. Nice neighbor helped us when a bear (!) visited our car. We laughed and used the garage the next night. Really loved the 10 min drive to everything we wanted, and then the peaceful view when we returned. Could use some beach towels? ##### Ann M. It was very spacious and accommodating for our family. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Upon arrival, we saw a bear leaving the next door neighbor’s backyard! The home was very clean and the layout worked out perfect for us. The master bedroom was very spacious and all rooms had decent size closets for our luggage. The game room was a huge bonus. The home is located very close to casinos (10 min drive) Over all we really enjoyed our little family vacation in South Lake Tahoe. ##### Minerva M. Location is great, with very good privacy. It is very clean, nicely equipped kitchen with EXCELLENT backyard view! Actually there is not fenced backyard; the entire hill is your backyard! We had lots of fun sledding and tubing down the hill right behind the house; built a nice igloo and a big size snowman. The kids LOVED it. We plan to go back again in a month or two.
