The yard is also fully fenced-in which was great for our kids and dog. There was a small leak under the kitchen sink, but the local property manager was quick to address it. The stairs are steep and slippery! My husband fell down the stairs, thankfully there was no serious injury. Feb 7, 2024 #### Great Home and Great Location This home was exactly what our group of 5 was looking for. We travel to a new place every year for a ski trip and this home had all of the amenities including the hot tub, great kitchenware for cooking our meals, plenty of space to spread out in the living room and dining room, and a nice large TV for watching some movies and hooking up some games to. The gas fireplace was obviously great for the winter use and helpful for drying out our ski gear. The best part is the location which is just a short drive to the base of Heavenly and right down the street the other direction is the Lake with plenty of great restaurants and things to do. Plus just a short drive away and you can get to the Nevada border where there are even more shops, bars, restaurants and casinos. Loved the layout of the place, had a cozy fireplace, well-appointed kitchen, all around enjoyable. A few quibbles: the cleaning wasn't finished when we checked in. The garbage cans were full (hadn't been brought out). A quick text with the property managers cleared it up. Also, we brought our own coffee, and were disappointed to find that there was no drip coffeemaker onsite. There was a keurig, but we didn't want to make a special trip for k-cups, and the attachment to let us use our own coffee did not work. Sorry, don't like keurigs. ##### Peter S. The cabin had all the amenities we needed, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. We cooked a great meal in the well-equipped kitchen and spent quality time enjoying the hot tub and fire pit.
