You can pick your favorite movie from the 250+ movie library and watch it on the 55” smart led tv with surround sound in the family room or on one of the led tv’s in each bedroom. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated with superior finishes. Game room If you are one who enjoys a variety of activities then this is definitely the right place for you. The game room was fantastic with something fun for everyone to do (all 5 of our kids ages 5-11 were fully entertained). The house was immaculate...and I am super-picky about cleanliness. Having a spot so close to Heavenly was also perfect for quick trips to ice skate or go to dinner. To top it off, it snowed while we were there. The kids (aged 14/17/20) loved the fire pit, pinball machine, shuffle board and pool table. There was plenty of space for us to spread out. Had a blast with the game room & hot tub just outside on the back deck. Kitchen was updated and had everything we needed. Plenty of room to spare for two couples, could accommodate several more with the 3rd bedroom containing bunk beds. Location was convenient as it was just a couple miles away from the lake, restaurants, shops, etc. Owner(s) very easy to work with & responsive, even checking in with us during our stay. Our 12 yr old loved playing Pac-man and 1948 on the "multicade" of 50+ games, our 16 yr old loved playing shuffleboard, and my husband loved the billiards table. Multicolored LED lighting gave the room a Las Vegas feel, but could be turned off for a more subtle ambiance. :-) My elderly father watched March Madness Basketball (from the 55" TV) in the living room recliner most of the time, so I loved escaping to the Master bedroom to read or catch the snow report from my own TV — what's not to like about a large TV/DVD player in every room? The interior of the house looks newly remodeled, and is squeaky-clean yet comfortable. The kitchen and baths are top-notch... I hadn't seen kick board lighting before this house. I did a 1000 piece puzzle on the large dining table, which is tradition! Another noteworthy attribute is the close (3 minute?) proximity to Heavenly Ski Resort — which allowed us to sleep in!! We would have gone gambling one night but the house is too cool to part with, so we BBQ'd and hot tubed instead. The Great Entertainer was a lovely place for my family and my Sister to stay at! The game room was awesome, and the kitchen was well stocked with necessities. We visited in the middle of July (2018) and there was no air conditioning. Which is normal for the homes in this area, from what we heard. It did get a little warm, but we are from SoCal, so it didn't bother us. The firepit and jacuzzi were great, and it is a short drive to the casinos/town/gondolas. The game room alone might have kept us in the cabin all week playing shuffleboard, Dirty Harry, and pool. Hot tub was fantastic, showers were great (towels for everyone, plus laundry!), and the comfy couch around the TV made relaxing easy. Bed space for all eight of us (snorers quarantined.) Kitchen was very well-stocked with all the gear we could want, and the location in town is great too. Easy access to multiple grocery stores, banks, Heavenly, Stateline, and we drove to Sierra and Kirkwood as well. There are instructions everywhere and we had zero issues using the numerous amenities. I would leave a bad review to keep other travelers away so that I can have this place all to myself, but I guess that won't be fair for Taylor as he's an awesome owner. He was an absolute pleasure to speak to and he was very helpful in the process. Very easygoing and understandable. I just came back from 4 days of much needed R&R with a handful of friends thanks to Taylor. The place is just amazing! They provide anything / everything you need for the kitchen, ample sleeping quarters for 6 guys, the game room was amazing, the couch was comfortable, the laundry / dryer are brand new, and to top it all off, they have a HOT TUB!! After a long day on the slopes it's hard to beat relaxing in the spa then playing games in the comfort of your own cabin. Whether it's playing pool, shuffle board, ping pong, or one of the many choices on the multicade it's entertainment for the whole family.
